Great service they have any kind of piñatas the best place in town of all your parties supplies

Place was very well stocked and had a great variety of items to choose from. The place is very big and the prices are fair considering how much everything is right now. The workers do not communicate with you at all. They do check you out very quickly though but it was difficult finding someone to help out in finding certain items. The location is also very strange to get into along with the parking. Lots of items were also not labeled with pricing or had incorrect pricing for different items. Overall I would recommend giving this place a try given it is one of the only ones I've been able to find that has variety of candy. Considering the amount of people moving here from LA county, this place could make lots of money if they step up just a little bit. It really gives off LA bulk buy. read more

Apparently I live in a hole and was never made aware that this place existed. I'm not Mexican; however, I grew up in Delano and I absolutely love love love Mexican candies. So, a few of my coworkers were talking about this place and I was in shock to know that this place was sitting here in Bakersfield. I seriously went crazy in this store and bought over $40 worth of candy for Halloween and everyone that Trick-or-treated in my neighborhood this past Halloween told me that my house was their favorite house haha. They literally have any Mexican candy that you can think of and I think I may have found my new favorite Mexican candy here which is the round little puparindo bolas... bomb!!!! Don't get me wrong those fresa tamarindo balls are up there too... but I can always get both and still win here. So happy to have been informed about this place so I don't have to wait for a relative or coworker to go to Mexico to get my Mexican candy fix anymore and it's super affordable. I bought this huge 5lb party mix that cost about $12 Staff was pretty nice and it's not too busy inside. It's organized and clean and parking area is not huge, but since it's not too busy inside there's a lot of parking available. read more

I was inquiring about a custom piñata and the lady was discriminating towards me implying I couldn't afford the piñata. My son in law ordered a CUSTOMIZED piña for my grandaughters 1st birthday paid it in full about a month ago, he never got a call to let him k ow it was ready so he went down there today to pick it up and was told the piñata had been sold already but if he wanted another one he would have to pay for it again mind you he had paid for the 1st one in full and in order for him to get another customized one he needed to pay again and the piñata wouldnt arrive till after the babies birthday party. These people are ridiculous they ended up giving him a plain ole piña nothing of what was previously ordered. read more

Terrible customer service. Their acting manager was rude, their employees are rude. A cashier, Yolanda, admitted she didn't check the merchandise before she charged it and they wouldn't do an exchange on a defective unopened item. They're poor customer service and staff etiquette are reasons not to return. read more

Store hours online are completely wrong, had to check instagram to find the correct hours. Showed up 10 minutes before 7pm(close time). A store employee refused to let myself and another person in. I asked to speak to someone about store hours and she claimed she had no manager or supervisor and was very rude. I usually love coming here for any events I have but this experience wasn't a good one. It would be great to update store hours or atleast encourage employees to be nicer to customers. read more

My husband ventured here to pick up some Mexican candy. Whatever it was that he brought home (lollipops in the shape of a roast chicken) was quite interesting in terms of flavor. :) There are 40 pieces and the price was ridiculously cheap. People DON'T shop here. Worst experience ever. Went here to purchase about $100 in piñata and candy. The owner as we passed her she was fixing the candy because they were about to close in 20 minutes. As we passed her she said f**ing Mexican people are super nasty. Mind you this lady was Mexican her self. Being of any race gives you no rights to speak about them in that manner. That's not it! When we were about to pay the cashier was so upset because it was 5 minutes before closing (no signs saying what time they close on Sunday). She started throwing all our candy in the bag breaking the lollipops and was upset when we asked for our piñata. At this point we we're DONE! We left our stuff and went elsewhere. read more

Taking my business elsewhere next time. Spent over $200 and left with an employee giving me attitude. Me and my mom went together and paid separately, employee asked my mom how she was paying (Don't know why it mattered). My mom paid debit, while my mom finished paying the employee was having some off topic convo with another employee. She started ringing my stuff up and I start to pay and she says "ok, I asked you how you were paying and you told me debit!" with an attitude. My mom stepped in quickly when she realized how she spoke to me and told her "No, you didn't ask her anything, you asked me how I was paying, not her." Employee didn't say anything. Right after that, a security guard stepped up telling her that there were 5 chamoy bottles on the floor that we didn't tell her we had and she rang me up for them without asking me if they were mine. They weren't my bottles, they were another customers behind me and that customer behind me told her she needed to stop being rude or else he would go somewhere else. Again she said nothing and we got no apology from her or the security guard who was basically accusing us of trying to steal the bottles. I love the variety of products they have, but the employee herself is reason enough to not go back! read more

I always buy here a lot spent a lot money. But my last experience wasn't the best, the cashier and owner worst customer service and attitude. I been working in restaurant in Hollywood and Beverly hill in top high end cuisine and Michelin star, Sometimes we get customers that are greedy with bad mood but at the end we satisfied them with a positive attitude. I get it customers is never right but at least try to satisfied your customers and try to make them feel warmed and make them come back, that's what a business must work. read more

What a great find. I was on my way to the Mercado when I saw this place and decided to stop in. So many great items, I ended up buying some chamoy which they have multiple brands, a bottle of liquid tajin which I have never seen, a pack of cucharita, and a few other items.
