All flavors exceeded my expectations and made me wish I returned each day to try a new flavor. Instead of a tourist shop serving heaps of Oreo-flavored gelato, you will be greeted with a friendly smile and a touch of the Yucatan. Once inside I asked in Spanish for their recommendation instead of just choosing one. The kid at the counter recommended Mamey and Guanábana which I had never heard of. He showed me what the fruit looked like and described them well. I chose the Mamey and it was excellent! Not sure how this location, far away from the center of town, will survive. There are a couple of excellent restaurants nearby, including Catrin and Oliva Enoteca.
