    Guanábana (soursop) and watermelon ices

It's okay. We tried what the waiter recommended soursop and watermelon. Next time I'll try the Lima. Try getting here mid day or opening hours less crowded and enjoyable to eat out in the sidewalk. People watch and enjoy Mexico .

Fun after dinner stop off to taste the sorbeto of the Yucatán. There are plenty of patio tables and availability . They have about 8 or 10 flavors. These taste like water ice that I know in the US. I opted for the lemon and my husband had the peach. They are reasonable and served in a parfait glass. They have other options that are mixed with milk wasn't that adventurous after dinner. They have some sidewalk acts that provided entertainment which was nice .

Best natural ice cream i have ever tasted. I had Coconut then I came back for mango. Both are unreal but I love coconut more. Love the outdoor little tables. Fast service. Very decent servings compared to the US and of course better prices. Esta cuidad es hermosa y más segura que cualquier cuidad en los estados divididos de trump

This location was part of Carnival's Merida Street Food Tour excursion. Knowing the history of Merida, the tour guide suggested we order something "local" and not the traditional chocolate, strawberry or vanilla. Merida is known for corn so I ordered the corn sorbet. Tastes like a refreshing cream corn delight! The staff was efficient. They have exchange for exact pesos, but will take US dollars. There's also other sweet treats like pastries and cakes, but I didn't want to bring too much back to the ship. There's indoor/outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine. Must try place if you're ever in Merida!

We stopped here for sorbet and pastries at the end of a tour. They had a good operation going to bring out orders quickly, so we didn't have to wait long. I ordered the guava sorbet and husband got the corn. The corn was really different, but fun to try. However, I liked my guava better. We also got some cookies and pastries to take with us. They were all really good!

I was walking down the street exploring Merida and was getting a but hot and hungry. I saw this refreshing ice cream place with many people sitting and enjoying their ice cream. I decided to pop in. Service: Very friendly employees and fast service. I had my ice cream to go in less than 5 minutes and I was on my way exploring Merida. I asked what they recommend: coconut, guayana. I love coconut. It is a lovely ice cream but more vanilla than coconut. I could not taste the coconut but occasionally would get a coconut chunk. The ice cream had some ice crystals, but overall it was a very smooth and good quality ice cream. I was just hoping for more coconut flavor.

Sweet little spot to visit after stopping by the "Palacio Canton"! This place is known for their sorbet and their delicious pastries. I was not familiar with any of the flavors because they are fruits I've never even heard of! I asked for recommendations and some local visitors suggested COCO! It was a sweet little stop during our stroll through the city.

Absolutely amazing sorbets. Sorbets are softer than those found/eaten in the US. The consistency is somewhat in between a slushy and US sorbets. Texture is soft, not icy. The coconut is creamy and sweet. The lemon is tangy and has the right amount of sweetness. These sorbets are literally mouth watering and perfect for Merida's weather. Only downfall, you don't get to sample flavors.
