Just bought a cheese burger 6.50. Have been going there for 50 years. Wont be going back. Previous owners sold the same hamburger for 350.

Great morning sandwiches, with croissants, English muffin, biscuit. Excellent artisan sandwiches for lunch.

This was my first time here, having breakfast with my special needs brother who really likes to eat, and especially breakfast. He ordered the Buzz Special with eggs, bacon, sausage, a choice of generous sides and two dinner plate sized pancakes which he shared with me. I ordered the Irish Benedict with homemade corned beef hash. It was amongst the best I've ever had..and I've had my share of hash and hollandaise sauce. The side of homemade baked beans was generous and delicious, with cooked onions, pieces of bacon, and just the right mix of salty and sweet. In hindsight I should've gotten an order of those to go! The blueberry pancakes were moist and fluffy, not overflowing with blueberries but enough to satisfy. Lastly, the coffee here is excellent. Unlike many good breakfast places whose weak and watered down coffee takes away from the food, their brew was the real deal. Four thumbs up from us! God willing, we will definitely be back.

From eggs Benedict to waffles and French toast to omelets. We went recently and got pancakes and one of their breakfast bowls (forgive me I can't remember the name of it). I got the bowl which was so filling. I couldn't finish it unfortunately... but for what you pay, you get an insane amount of food. The cheese in it was gooey, the chipotle aioli was perfectly balanced, and the avocado added something light and fresh. I also of course love the eggs Benedict (not pictured). And the home fries are definitely the best in the sea coast area. Crispy and seasoned! My boyfriend thought his pancakes were grainy, but personally I loved them. Everytime we go here, the service is quick and friendly. The ambiance is cozy! And we are never disappointed.

My friend got the raspberry cream cheese stuffed French Toast, which was also delicious. (I sampled!) They have homemade baked goods (breads, muffins, and a variety of donuts) that are to-die-for, too. I never leave without a few donuts to take home. It's quaint and small inside, but not uncomfortably so. You can either sit by a cozy, lit fireplace, or by a window. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. You just can't go wrong with The Copper Lantern.

The blueberry muffins would have caught my eye even if I hadn't come for one already. Blueberry Muffin: Dense, wobbly, moist but not saturated, light angel cake flavor, numerous blueberries of good size, but not bulbous. Crunch in the crown from just the right amount of coarse sugar sprinkles, but no crispness in the overhang. Uniform pillowy soft texture throughout. Very good muffin. Coffee: Hot, medium bold flavor, and refills from your server. Service: Exceptionally good. Outstanding first impression. Looking forward to trying the homemade donuts and some traditional non-bakery breakfast items.
