Short story is Chris rearranged his day to come look at the problem, had a team there a few hours later, handled the permit, inspection, and power company for us, and power was restored within 24 hours of the problem at a cost lower than we expected. Amazing. Called them back for a bunch of work on two houses and the price was so affordable I was confused and thought it was just for the first house.

The other never even came out to look. Then I heard about Bruce at B & E Hewett, so I gave him a call. He actually answered the phone! He came out that day, looked at the project, took the time to answer my questions and take my input, explained what his recommendations were and why, and then quoted me a price which I thought was quite fair. He told me what day they could do the work and we did some back and forth about some details with my roofer for a few days. He never failed to either answer the phone or get back to me quickly. The two young guys who came out and did much of the work were respectful and good at their jobs. Bruce was there most of the time, as well. They did the work quickly and efficiently. I cannot recommend this company highly enough!

The service man was very nice and polite but why did he charge me 50 dollars to just put a cheap new knob on only and it does the same thing my nice old knob was doing? Nothing was solved. He then thought he was going to leave the thing around the knob loose as it was not that way when he came and the water nozzle turned side ways. On top of that. He did get me some hot water but tell me what happened to the cold water......only had hot water. Had to call him back out and he did correct the water but couldn't tell me why he didn't replace the whole knob area just stated that the new cheap knob that I was charged 50 dollars for was going to continue turning all around, no stop point.....well you have to find the stop point because it needed the whole piece replaced. Yea, polite but slack business.

The owner was supposed to come on Wednesday the May 13th 2020 to install ceiling fans . He sent me…read morea message shortly before the appointment time saying he had a family emergency and wanted to reschedule for Thursday. I told him that was fine but if he couldn't make it to please let me know because I wanted the fans installed before Friday since it would be hot on Friday. He came Thursday and said he didn't estimate the job correctly and needed a helper so he'd come back the next day, Friday at 7am to do the install before it warmed up. I got my family up extra early this morning to be out of his way. At 7:25 am I messaged him through Thumbtack to see if he was still coming. The site showed he was online to see my message. I then texted him. I later messaged him again through Thumbtack (again the site showed him being online to see my messages) but as of 8:44 am (the time I'm writing this review) I've heard nothing. Really disappointing because when he came by he seemed like a really good guy and I took him at his word. So now I have to start this process all over again.
