He was nice enough to take a look before I got to the house and run and get materials so that when we I arrived, with my approval he could start the project right away. He provided me with a fair quote and he projected a time that he would complete the job and stick to it. His assistant was extremely nice and they were both incredibly helpful. He vacuumed up the debris as he completed each step of the job and left me with exactly the outcome I had hoped. I was very pleased with his work and not only would I call him for future jobs, but I'd also highly recommend him for yours!

At the time he told me his truck was in the shop. I told him I needed the dishwasher in and he gave me his WORD that he would get the dishwasher out when his truck was fixed. Well here it is 3 months later and I continue to appeal to him I need the dishwasher picked up. I'm a 65 yr. Female and I have no way of getting it out or having money to pay someone else to pick it up!!. I paid him cash for the job and tipped him beyond generous. JUST A WARNING. . . TERRY'S WORD MEANT NOTHING!! I GOT RIPPED!! PER YOUR RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW---NOW TERRY, YOU KNOW YOU HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME TO PICK UP DISHWASHER, PERIOD. IF THAT WERE TRUE, WHY DO YOU THINK I WROTE THIS REVIEW?? UPDATE: Finally had to pay extra to get old dishwasher removed!! It WAS part of the deal I paid Terry to do when he came out but he never fulfilled his end of the deal. Never Again!!

I paid $45,000 for Mark Carlisle Home Improvement to install a Trex boardwalk and dock on my…read moreproperty with a 5 year warranty for workmanship. I have had the deck for about 2 years now and am having a lot of trouble with it. At first my outdoor lighting that was on the boardwalk and dock started giving me problems. I had my lighting guys come out and they said all the outdoor, all-weather grade fasteners and fittings that they had put on were no longer on and causing all my problems. It turns out Mark Carlisle's crew who took the lights off to install the new boardwalk and dock threw those good fasteners and fittings away on the ground and replaced with cheap indoor fittings after I specifically told them to keep them and use them to put the lighting back on. That is the smaller problem. The big problem is that I was told the Trex fasteners were not available so they used screws to fasteners the Trex and now I am ha ing problems with warping and keeping the Trex secured. This is a tripping hazard and creates an unsafe condition. When i brought this to Mark's attention, at first he said he would replace the Trex and have the lights fixed back to original and now he is not doing that when we have a written 5 year warranty on the work. It is very disappointing and will probably have to go to court. Very unprofessional work done by the crew and a total disregard for the warranty that he guaranteed. I recommend not using this contractor for any home project as the crew did a terrible job and the person is completely dishonest. Avoid yourself the headache.
