I really like this place but they are truly a hit and miss when it comes to the food. They are out of ingredients a lot of the time and don't mention it up front. Idl that ! Otherwise they are okay

The old adage,"first impressions are everything" certainly applies here. Highly recommended by a friend I set course for the nether regions of the ever expanding Collin county scene. Walking in,I was immediately at ease. Soft groove background track, abundance of seating to include, leather chairs, tables, banquet and high tops. Easy to read menu, helpful staff and the ringer....real glassware! Got me! Go!

Disclaimer: this was first posted on google maps a year ago! I just made a yelp account! My apologies if there has been changes since then! I used to love going here (past tense because it's literally so far away from me). I would come here early in the morning to study all the time. I love the different varieties of drinks that you can get here but I tend to go to my usual (caramel latte and hazelnut latte). But I have tried the Amazon Chili Mocha (I didn't like it as much but it's still good regardless. As well as the Maple Cinnamon Latte; I have gotten this at other places and it was just as good, though i think they went kinda ham on the cinnamon. I didn't like their Vanilla Cream Cold Brew as much but that might just be me. For non-coffee drinks, I did get a Vanilla Matcha and it was great! As for food, I tried the Avo x Pesto toast and it was pretty good, just a bit plain for my liking. But if you're there during breakfast time, I highly recommend making your own "My Breakfast Bowl"!

I tried their summer menu item iced blueberry crunch latte and loved it! I have tried blueberry lattes from other places and this has been my best experience so far. The coffee service was great and came out quick. I also got the avo toast which was pretty simple but still good as well.

What a cute coffee shop in McKinney. I came on a Friday morning and noticed almost the entire cafe was already filled. I didn't realize how busy this cafe gets. The actual cafe is a lot bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. It has plenty of seats to drink coffee, hang out, work, and eat. The noise level of this place is moderate to loud so if you're stopping by to do work just be aware of the background noise. The staff that took my order was nice. I ordered a caramel macchiato with almond milk. It was good coffee. I can't say the best but still good and the size was nice (16 oz.). I didn't order any of the food but I will the next time I visit!

Lovely coffee establishment. Lots of seating both indoors and covered outdoors. We got a hot oat milk chai (they didn't have soymilk) and an iced americano. Both were very good. They offer reusable mugs/glasses as well as to-go options. The inside decor is clean but very general. The cashier was very nice.

I really love this coffee shop. When I first walked in, I saw beautiful paintings on the wall and it was paintings that were available for purchase! I thought that was a real concept as the artist did an amazing job on them. The staff was also kind and very patient with me as I debated over what to get. I ended up getting the Strawberry Matcha latte and also a blueberry muffin. I was going there to study/do some work and so they gave it to me on a glass cup and the matcha was a lot bigger than I expected! It also tasted amazing and I loved the strawberry bits in it. The muffin was okay but I also came at a time where there weren't that many pastries available. I've been on a cafe hunt and this is my top #1 so far.

My mini me and I stumbled across a spot that had an awesome selection of specialty lattes, so we were beyond excited to try a few out. We picked out 3, and are now in a coffee coma lol. From left to right- Toasted 'Mallow Latte.... yum!! It was my favorite of the three. Made with their housemade marshmallow syrup, espresso, steamed milk, and topped with a toasted marshmallow. Banana Foster Latte- it was just meh..... Journ said it tasted like nothing. It was our least favorite. Granny's Apple Pie Latte- Journ's favorite!! She highly recccomends this one! Classic apple pie flavored latte topped with a whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Already excited for our next coffee adventure!!

    Blueberry crunch latte

Got the blueberry crunch latte..I think it's seasonal for summer. It is great! Blueberry pie filling at the bottom and white mocha at the top, he said. It's not overly sweet at all. Definitely would get again!

Nice, quiet coffee shop perfect for working from with lots of seating and outlets! I got a matcha latte and while the latte art was really cute I feel like the matcha could have been a little stronger.

Since then, we've had brunch there 3 or 4 times, and every time has been a delight. We've spoke to the owner, a very friendly Armenian gentlemen whose cousin is also involved with the restaurant, as is the owner's daughter and others. Plus, he's been in the restaurant business for over 30 years, and a number of the employees have been with him for many years. Bottom line, the guy knows how to run a business. Be warned, though, as others have mentioned, there will be a line, and there's no phoning ahead, going online etc. You'll speak to the man with the clipboard, that's the owner. He'll put your name down and find you when it's your turn. The system works, and it's great. But what of the food? We've brought friends and family and between us all, have sampled easily a dozen dishes or more. My latest brunch was the chicken fried steak, and I ordered it kind of half breakfast, half lunch style. I wanted hashbrowns (extra crispy, and boy, were they delivered that way!) but also wanted fried okra, our server accepted the order with a smile. The steak was tender, well coated with golden brown and delicious crust, and the gravy was thick and well seasoned. Eggs were light and fluffy, and one can see from my picture, those hashbrowns were surely extra crispy. We've also sampled a number of the shop made desserts, and they have all been phenomenal. Bottom line, this is a great locally owned and operated business, where the owner is literally involved and working the floor every day, and they're really doing everything right.

The menu may look the same, but the quality and preparation of items have changed. For example, the crab cake Benedict used to feature homemade crab cakes, and now it's a fried frozen-style patty. The one-star review is really based on the service experience, and unfortunately it's the reason we won't be returning. While waiting for our table, the manager or possible owner was telling single-party guests there was a 30-minute wait, while parties of three or more were being quoted only 10 minutes. An older woman standing there heard him tell the group in front of her 10 minutes right before he told her 30. The more I thought about it afterward, the more disappointed I was that I didn't speak up in the moment. Treating guests differently based solely on party size is unacceptable and left a very bad impression.

All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. And even better, the coffee comes from Columbia. They purchase it from a local importer (I believe). They provided the url via QR code. We believe in the "Buy local" philosophy. It's nice to see businesses doing business with local businesses. THE BAD: It's a small restaurant. Making a reservation (Open Table) is likely a good idea. We happened to find it at a slow moment on a Saturday morning. OVERALL: We're fans. I'd love to take our friends and family for lunch, or tell them about our new find. However, there are some things better kept to oneself.

Located in a never-ending strip mall in Allen, we walked in and got our name on the list. It was 11:30 am, so the early church crowd was coming in alongside us. We were told it would be about 30 minutes, but it ended up only being about 10. Inside, Sunview is loaded with Texas décor all over the walls. It feels pretty small, but they definitely take advantage of every corner of the space for seating with their booths and tables. The prices are pretty fair for a brunch spot. One thing that definitely caught me off guard was how many things were on their double-sided menu. It felt like a legal document with how extensive it was. It is definitely overwhelming, but I locked in and ordered a Meat Lover's Omelet. It's filled with bacon, sausage, ham, and American cheese. For my sides, I got hash browns and two pancakes, which is a steal for a $14 omelet. It wasn't long before the food came out, and I crushed the omelet. It needed some salt and pepper personally, but it was pretty good and hearty, especially with the pancakes as a side. The impression from my brother and sister-in-law was that they wanted to come back here often, and I'll probably find myself returning next time I'm in Dallas. Hashbrowns had a bad flavor-from the grease they squirt on the griddle to cook the hashbrowns and get them crisp. It tasted old. I love hashbrowns and order them a lot when ordering breakfast. I could only take a few bites. The hubs ordered a panini. It came with potato soup. I tried the soup and it was good, but needed more flavor. Probably just needed a tad more salt.
