I really like this place but they are truly a hit and miss when it comes to the food. They are out of ingredients a lot of the time and don't mention it up front. Idl that ! Otherwise they are okay

The old adage,"first impressions are everything" certainly applies here. Highly recommended by a friend I set course for the nether regions of the ever expanding Collin county scene. Walking in,I was immediately at ease. Soft groove background track, abundance of seating to include, leather chairs, tables, banquet and high tops. Easy to read menu, helpful staff and the ringer....real glassware! Got me! Go!

I really love this coffee shop. When I first walked in, I saw beautiful paintings on the wall and it was paintings that were available for purchase! I thought that was a real concept as the artist did an amazing job on them. The staff was also kind and very patient with me as I debated over what to get. I ended up getting the Strawberry Matcha latte and also a blueberry muffin. I was going there to study/do some work and so they gave it to me on a glass cup and the matcha was a lot bigger than I expected! It also tasted amazing and I loved the strawberry bits in it. The muffin was okay but I also came at a time where there weren't that many pastries available. I've been on a cafe hunt and this is my top #1 so far.

Disclaimer: this was first posted on google maps a year ago! I just made a yelp account! My apologies if there has been changes since then! I used to love going here (past tense because it's literally so far away from me). I would come here early in the morning to study all the time. I love the different varieties of drinks that you can get here but I tend to go to my usual (caramel latte and hazelnut latte). But I have tried the Amazon Chili Mocha (I didn't like it as much but it's still good regardless. As well as the Maple Cinnamon Latte; I have gotten this at other places and it was just as good, though i think they went kinda ham on the cinnamon. I didn't like their Vanilla Cream Cold Brew as much but that might just be me. For non-coffee drinks, I did get a Vanilla Matcha and it was great! As for food, I tried the Avo x Pesto toast and it was pretty good, just a bit plain for my liking. But if you're there during breakfast time, I highly recommend making your own "My Breakfast Bowl"!

I tried their summer menu item iced blueberry crunch latte and loved it! I have tried blueberry lattes from other places and this has been my best experience so far. The coffee service was great and came out quick. I also got the avo toast which was pretty simple but still good as well.

What a cute coffee shop in McKinney. I came on a Friday morning and noticed almost the entire cafe was already filled. I didn't realize how busy this cafe gets. The actual cafe is a lot bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. It has plenty of seats to drink coffee, hang out, work, and eat. The noise level of this place is moderate to loud so if you're stopping by to do work just be aware of the background noise. The staff that took my order was nice. I ordered a caramel macchiato with almond milk. It was good coffee. I can't say the best but still good and the size was nice (16 oz.). I didn't order any of the food but I will the next time I visit!

Lovely coffee establishment. Lots of seating both indoors and covered outdoors. We got a hot oat milk chai (they didn't have soymilk) and an iced americano. Both were very good. They offer reusable mugs/glasses as well as to-go options. The inside decor is clean but very general. The cashier was very nice.

My mini me and I stumbled across a spot that had an awesome selection of specialty lattes, so we were beyond excited to try a few out. We picked out 3, and are now in a coffee coma lol. From left to right- Toasted 'Mallow Latte.... yum!! It was my favorite of the three. Made with their housemade marshmallow syrup, espresso, steamed milk, and topped with a toasted marshmallow. Banana Foster Latte- it was just meh..... Journ said it tasted like nothing. It was our least favorite. Granny's Apple Pie Latte- Journ's favorite!! She highly recccomends this one! Classic apple pie flavored latte topped with a whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Already excited for our next coffee adventure!!

Nice, quiet coffee shop perfect for working from with lots of seating and outlets! I got a matcha latte and while the latte art was really cute I feel like the matcha could have been a little stronger.

Since then, we've had brunch there 3 or 4 times, and every time has been a delight. We've spoke to the owner, a very friendly Armenian gentlemen whose cousin is also involved with the restaurant, as is the owner's daughter and others. Plus, he's been in the restaurant business for over 30 years, and a number of the employees have been with him for many years. Bottom line, the guy knows how to run a business. Be warned, though, as others have mentioned, there will be a line, and there's no phoning ahead, going online etc. You'll speak to the man with the clipboard, that's the owner. He'll put your name down and find you when it's your turn. The system works, and it's great. But what of the food? We've brought friends and family and between us all, have sampled easily a dozen dishes or more. My latest brunch was the chicken fried steak, and I ordered it kind of half breakfast, half lunch style. I wanted hashbrowns (extra crispy, and boy, were they delivered that way!) but also wanted fried okra, our server accepted the order with a smile. The steak was tender, well coated with golden brown and delicious crust, and the gravy was thick and well seasoned. Eggs were light and fluffy, and one can see from my picture, those hashbrowns were surely extra crispy. We've also sampled a number of the shop made desserts, and they have all been phenomenal. Bottom line, this is a great locally owned and operated business, where the owner is literally involved and working the floor every day, and they're really doing everything right.

First off the menu options are varied making it hard to choose just one entree. Did we want pancakes or French toast or biscuits....so hard. Everything looked fresh, delicious, and made to order and the portions were definitely shareable. We started off with brunch cocktails and even received a comp croissant beignet appetizer which was absolutely amazing. They were flacky on the outside and butter soft inside with amazing Nutella dipping sauce. We decided to go with a green goddess salad with all the yummy veggies, French toast, and pancakes for the table. This is a great place to dine alone and with family, friends, or a brunch date. I ordered their French toast and two sunny side up eggs with extra crispy bacon. I asked her twice to please make it super crispy. The best part about my breakfast ended being my plain sunny side up eggs. Followed by the thin, soft grilled bacon that somehow came not crispy and lastly the French toast. Three dry, D-R-Y pieces of toast, with no custard flavor or moistness. It was almost just plain toast with a side of fruit compote, not what was served to the influencer on that reel. I powered through one toast and left the other two, because they were m not worth the calories. In the couple of times we saw our server, she asked how was the food and I told her about the toast, (this was at almost the end of our meal) as a suggestion. She said she would have it made gain, and she did in about 10-15 min, so that was great, but her good intentions felt short when the French toast was still dry, although with a slight soft top. Imagine barely toasted toast with powered sugar. Sigh. My friends breakfast of eggs, toast, bacon and fruit was unremarkable too. Service was 5/10'just because she tried to correct the kitchen issue (although late). Overall with tip we spent $50 for a meal not up to par with other great breakfast restaurants in the area,, a complete let down as the place looks amazing and the patio was so inviting. If the food had been at least as good as Morning Bliss, Cracked & Crepe,, Brunch at Lilly's, Frisco Starwood or Biscuit just to name a few great ones, this place would become our new go to place, based on ambiance and the patio, but it just missed the high bar by a lot. I feel sometimes, influencers get invited and the food they are served in a reel is not what two ladies in their 50's get. Pity.

All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. And even better, the coffee comes from Columbia. They purchase it from a local importer (I believe). They provided the url via QR code. We believe in the "Buy local" philosophy.
