Every time I step foot in this store, I am greeted with a friendly greeting. Most of time I already have an idea of what I am getting but not always. Either way, I am always asked by several employees, "If I need help finding anything." This weekend, I needed to paint my bathroom, just some touch up paint. I visited this location, and I believe Steve or Steven assisted me. He matched up the paint perfectly and he helped me make some decisions on sandpaper and painting textures. He knew exactly what he was doing, he was very helpful. Touched up my bathroom and it looks great! I am very proud this day and age when you can walk into an establishment and be met with extraordinary service. Very grateful for whatever the success of this store is. I am not sure if it's good management, good environment, great employees, or if it's combination? Whatever your secret sauce is, Keep up the great work!!

It was a bit of a ride from NOLA to SLIDELL, but it was well worth the ride. The particular item was NO WHERE to be found in the area, but this Ace Hardware was there in a crunch. I found the staff to be very friendly, courteous, attentive & willing to assist. Before making the journey to Slidell, I made a phone call to see if the 30-amp disconnect breaker was there. The young man who answered the phone was quick to advise, they did indeed have the breaker, however , there was only one left. I asked him to hold it for me at the front desk because I was on the way. He did exactly as I asked and I was able to, yeah, you know it pull 'a stick and move caper'... I picked up the breaker at the front desk, paid for it and I was out the door lickety-split in less than five minutes. No, really it was five minutes. I'm glad to have been acquainted with the store. The trip to Slidell was pleasant and it gave me an opportunity to get out of the office and get a breather. Glad to know this store is there. If I ever need them to come in again in a clutch, I'll be there. Pricing was fair. Offstreet parking is the call for the day.

As my grandmother has a cardiac condition, she is at-risk in addition to her advanced age. Personally, I have visited this location on more than one occasion. With few exceptions I found the employees to be rude or just downright negligent. They're stock of supplies was never that great before the pandemic and is now dismal. The big stores use an algorithm, and if some obscure fitting or equipment doesn't sell enough, they stop carrying it. Pontchartrain isn't like that, they still carry hardware, and plenty of boat stuff. Their prices are reasonable considering what you would pay for next day shipping to order online, even as a prime member. When I need a hardware solution, I go here.

The customer service we received from the owner Eric was by far the best I have ever received he new everything I needed and wanted to know about Primo grills and the comparison to all the other grills that he sold, also making sure I had all the accessories I wanted while explaining what they were and how to use them.He also made sure to contact me after my purchase to tell me Primo grill was running a promotion for a free smart fire temperature controller and instant read thermometer and sent me the link.
