We had an appointment at Fetch, Brandon, with Dr. Ivy Arnold. Immediately, after meeting Dr. Arnold, surgeon for small animals, I felt my boy was in good hands. She explained the procedure and the possibilities of the surgery. My experience with Dr. Arnold and the hospital staff has been amazing! I received several updates after the surgery and the day after, along with pics! My boy is doing so well, he gets to come home today! I can say I was less stressed knowing he was in good hands! Also, it was comforting to know that during the night, there was someone there to look after him, not being alone in an empty building. I highly recommend Fetch, Brandon! Told the vet we assumed it was…read morevestibular syndrome based on her age, but they decided to scare the hell out of us so they could upsell us thousands of dollars in testing telling us it was likely terminal cancer. X-rays showed nothing and my dog has improved every day, showing it was just the vestibular syndrome. But that would not have been profitable for Fetch so they put us through hell making us think our dog was going to die this week. Definitely will never return. By the way, everyone taking your dogs to emergency clinics-- do you realize here in the United States that the veterinarians get a base salary plus commission? Keep that in mind next time they try to sell you thousands of dollars in testing.

She has cared for every pet that I have had here in Tampa including my buddy and best friend Bailey the miniature Yorkie. Bailey is here for his comprehensive exam and I wouldn't have it any other way but for him to be cared for by Dr. Manning. Why is that? But of course her customer service is impeccable! Not only is she warm and loving to the humans but most importantly to my Bailey. She cares and treat him as if he were her own. We went on vacation last fall and left Bandaid at another boarding facility for 10 days. He staged a hunger strike. The boarding facility didn't let us know and when I returned to pick him up he was in bad shape and needed medical attention. We stopped using that boarding facility. We needed a new boarding facility and found Sweeties Cat house. I was a little nervous about leaving the cats at a facility again. But like I said they need supervision.... So I left them with Sweeties cat house. I asked them to watch my little protester to ensure he ate. They did. And when we returned to pick him up, no issues. The positive experience made me feel okay with leaving him in their care on multiple occasions for a few days at a time. So last week we dropped the little guys off for a 10 day stay. I was nervous. Well Bandaid did his hunger strike thing again... Unlike the previous boarding facility, Sweeties called to give me an update. We talked about the situation and when my guy started to show signs of a medical crisis they kept me informed. Paula and Alba both advocated for my little guy and got him to a vet before things escalated. I am extremely grateful for their thoughtfulness and attention to my cats. They really went above and beyond to ensure a healthy outcome. Happily my guy is home now and acting like nothing ever happened! I cannot say enough kind things about this boarding facility and the people there. I will not hesitate to leave my little guys with them again if needed.

I also really appreciate that they never pressure you or make you feel uncomfortable if you choose to decline or postpone services. Our dog recently had surgery here, and everything went smoothly. The only drawback was the interaction when we dropped him off. The technician who received our dog came across as somewhat nonchalant, which was difficult given that my wife was feeling anxious due to a previous traumatic surgical experience at another vet. His tone, expression, and checklist-style approach lacked empathy and reassurance, which would have gone a long way in that moment. That said, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a follow-up call the next day to check on our dog, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. Overall, this is a great veterinary practice aside from that single interaction. I'm willing to give the technician the benefit of the doubt--perhaps it was just early that morning and/or he was having an off day. We plan to continue bringing our dog here for his care.
