They either didn't pickup, don't service Samsung dryers or couldn't get onsite for 5+ days. I called Carlos who was in the middle of a repair. I texted him my information. He was at my house within a couple hours. Carlos was very kind and respectful. He completely took apart my dryer to find the problem. Replaced the defective parts, cleaned the dyer and gave me advice on how to avoid this in the future. $200 for the repair. Kind of stinks considering that's over 1/4 cost of the dryer but it was worth every penny in my opinion. I was not capable of fixing this and couldn't go a whole weekend without washing clothes. I know exactly who to call for my next appliance snafu!

His price was extremely reasonable and he had mentioned if I have anymore issues he would come back free of charge. In 2003 I bought my complete set of kitchen appliances from SouthTowns Appliance at this location…read moreand they would have gotten 5 starts if I were writing Yelp reviews back then. Today, the parts, service and repair people who were in the back have expanded to the entire facility and are keeping up the tradition of excellence. My 19-year-old dishwasher finally wore out. Me, being "thrifty" aka "cheap" priced a new one at Best Buy, Lowes and Home Depot before heading here. Each of them had a model to fit my requirements (24 inch stainless steel front and tub) on sale. None had the one I wanted on display or in stock. I would have to order and wait. Only Lowes had someone in the store who knew how to find a dishwasher in their system without getting help. The appliance department in Best Buy looks like someone went through and shoved everything into a pile. I saved the best store till last. The dishwasher I wanted was on display in the front of the store. The knowledgeable salesperson knew the price and answered my questions. Within a minute I knew the price here was better than any of the big box prices. I ordered my dishwasher on the spot. It was in stock, delivered, and installed at the date and time promised. Bravo!

I did my research in regards to companies that are fair, efficient and local. I read several positive reviews for Delavan Appliance Repair and gave them a call. Tracy answered the phone right away and took my info. You have to give them a credit card number since the service call is $100 but still better than buying a whole new fridge. The appointment was made for three days later at noon. Dan and his son showed up right on time. They took my fridge apart in no time and assessed the situation. They were cordial and efficient while ensuring that none of the pieces broke while disassembling the unit. They talked about what they were finding and the possible solutions. There was no upselling, no 'you need a new this, a new that'; just service. They found the issue right away and put everything back together just the way it was. The service appointment went smooth, fast and accurate. I'm thrilled that I have a functioning freezer again and highly recommend Delavan appliance for all your fridge/washer/dryer repair needs since there motto is 'if they can't fix it, it ain't broke'.

I called the service dept and was given an appointment from N & M. Earliest appointment they had was June 26, 2026, took the day off of work and an old man who coughed the whole time and did not speak replaced the control panel. He turned it on and saw that it started warming up to 100 degrees and packed up everything and left. Later that evening I tried to bake something in the oven and it completely turned off again! Called back for another appointment and was given 7/1/26, I took off another day of work-they did not show up for the appointment and said my appoinment was for the following wednesday, that was not true. Made another appointment for 7/10/26, took off another day from work, was called by N&M at 8:00 am to say that their techninion called "in sick" and they cancelled my appointment again! This is absolutely unacceptable, poor customer service. I do not ever recommend this company for anyone, well only if you want to have an appliance that lives in your kitchen not working and you want to lose money at your job for taking off and waiting for someone to come and fix the silver box sitting in your kitchen who never comes!! Why did I purchase an extended warranty! They do not care about their customers at all!! Worst company ever!!! Orvilles should not have a contract with such a terrible company!! If I could give 0 stars I would!
