I apologize for underestimating the repair." They screw around with what is damaged and never make all the repairs in their quote, thus saving themselves money on parts. You continually have to check their quotes against others, wasting so much time and energy with their gamesmanship. If you're just looking to charge your insurance company as much as possible I would recommend their expertise. That's clearly what they are in business to accomplish.

This was a new luxury vehicle and I regret going to carstar pickering as it's been issues ever since. Additionally, there is definitely some shenanigans going on with them and Discount car rental in the same building that they urge you to use for your loaner vehicle. Once I gave them all of the specifics of the windshield, they then upped it to $1222 plus tax. They gave me 3 options of their facilities. All were no where near my address, even though they have an Etobicoke location, I would have had to drive out to Thorhill, North York or Scarborough. In the meantime, I called another company and that company told me they would come to my house the next day to do the replacement. That company arrived as scheduled, completed the replacement in less than an hour and charged me $399 plus tax in total. Needless to say, I will never call Speedy again.
