Everytime we order food to go or eat in, everything tastes amazing! Normally get the half salad and half sandwich option. The portions are just right, the cost is reasonable, and the ingredients are fresh. It's a nice feeling when you walk in. You never get that, "you don't belong here stare" from any of the locals. You feel welcomed and the service is great. Food comes out pretty fast too. The apple cashew mandarin salad is soooo good. I have had the TBG panini and the club. Both were super tasty. It does have limited seating options but I am sure when the weather is nice, it's great to sit on the patio. You will feel comfortable bringing your kids for dinner time too. Went on a busy Saturday night (we found out it was just before a high school basketball game) and were lucky to grab a table (it quieted down significantly after the game started). The food was great! Our table split the Buffalo Dip and Spinach Artichoke Dip - we definitely liked the Buffalo dip best (goo flavor but not too spicy - and I have a very low spice tolerance), but the spinach dip was tasty too! I got the combo with the garden salad and the ABC (apple, bacon and grilled cheese) and it was delicious. The salad was a great portion and the bacon and apple were a great crunch! The pineapple upside down cake drink was a recommendation from friends and tasted JUST like it's name! A little sweet but very good. Overall would recommend! The only reason I gave 4 stars was service was a little slow (likely due to the rush) but they were still accommodating. read more

I had the Sundried Tomato Chicken Grill Panini. It was very good. Came with choice of fries or kettle chips so I chose fries. Savannah, our server was great! Super friendly and quick to check on us. The Italian Panini was phenomenal as well. Cute and clean bathrooms. They have a nice patio as well, it's small but cute. I like all the wood and stone throughout. Very cool place, I highly recommend you give it a try if you haven't already. read more

First time here. Great place. 4 seats at the bar. Tremendous atmosphere. Only had drinks but can't wait to come back for a game/burger.

Ambiance is really cool but their food leaves much to be desired. I ordered a sun dried tomato chicken panini and the chicken was rubbery and lacked flavor. Spending a couple of days in the area and found this wonderful place. Reminded me of a pub in Ireland or England. You walk into the bottom floor like basement and into low wood ceilings just like a pub. The place was full on Thursday night and we sat at a table near the bar. Not a lot of room but that just got us talking to the locals and the bartender. The paninis were big and very good, nice beers on tap. Great service. In the basement of a very old house with bricks and stone uncovered on the walls, a BEAUTIFUL bar area with seating ( I will sit there next time! ) A small but decent array of craft beer with a couple basics (my son approves, and he operates a 60 tap craft beer establishment). Now, the menu. You say, soups, salads and sandwiches. How interesting can that be?? And I say, VERY! Everything appears homemade with lots of care. My first time, we ordered the pulled pork nachos ($8) as an app. It was not only HUGE, the chips were right out of the fryer! The generous amount of pork was awesome, topped with a tangy but slightly sweet BBQ sauce and lots of sour cream. WOW! (My 2nd time I ordered this as my meal and ate almost half! LOL) I've tried the Caprese panini on delicious bread with sundried tomato swirled through it. I give that 4 or more stars. I've had the chili and the french onion soup and both are delicious! The french onion blew my mind! The people who have joined me at Duffer's love the atmosphere and the food. The waitress was nice and took care of all customers by themselves. The tables were all occupied. My chicken salad croissant was okay. It was almost as good as a packaged one at the airport. My lover's cheese, apple and bacon panini arrived without bacon but no one said anything. She ate some and opened the sandwich, no bacon and scary looking cheese wiz like yellow stuff and some sweet apple chunks. My dinner mate asked about their sandwich missing the bacon. The waitress admitted their was a problem with that and offered my wife another sandwich. The waitress graciously brought a beef sandwich in its place. Had a nice 1st visit. It is a small place seating maybe 36 plus a 4 stool bar. Nice menu...good food. My choice was a Apple cashew mandarin orange salad..tasty with a delightful fugi Apple vinigratte dressing. Anxious to go back again. read more

Maybe an off night but we were not impressed. Poor service and mixed up orders. Even the French fries were undercooked and soggy.

I love the location and atmosphere of this place, and they tend to have a solid rotating couple of beers on draft -which I appreciate! But the food is always a let down. We keep trying because we love the place and the staff is lovely! Alas, The food just feels like frozen ingredients made into sandwiches. read more

I ordered a chicken wrap and it tasted like something from McDonald's, the homemade chips tasted like lays, didn't come with the pickle like menu said, and the pasta salad was Mac and cheese noodles with Mayo - which I was charged extra for when menu said it came with wrap. What a cool space! The basement is where the restaurant and bar are. The exposed brick and post and beam ceiling are so neat. The place is small but don't let that deter you. Tried the nachos and they were great. Also tried the buffalo chicken wrap and it was so good. The portions are huge and the prices are so cheap. For what this place is you have to try it. read more

I've been to this place a few times. A couple of things to note; it's a small place and the menu is fairly simple and somewhat limited in comparison to other restaurants. Mostly soups; sandwiches; salads and appetizers. However, their portion sizes are pretty big and their prices are very reasonable. I have enjoyed everything I've ordered thus far. Their salads are really good and made with fresh ingredients! I also like their caprese panini. I typically get a half salad and sandwich combo because the portions are so large. Their long island iced teas and other mixed drinks are pretty good too! Simple food; fairly priced and done well. Much better quality than many of the chain restaurants in our area.
