Hello all! I'm checking in now in Pennsylvania! I'm at Duffer's Mill. Gonna try some food and beer. The reason i'm here btw, I ordered from here via Doordash, and had probably one of the freshest sandwich I've ever ate. The Carved Turkey. It's housed roasted birthday breast on multi grain w/ lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, garlic mayo, and bacon jam. Bacon Jam! Are you kidding me lol. One word.... wonderful. I also enjoyed the Pretzel Bites as well. Rock on! Today trying something new. Menu is nice not too much not too little, an appropriate selection. My bartender is great very attentive. Dave rock on! Just ordered the bone in wings hot garlic. Not bad 5 for $5.99. The menu is very well priced. Ok so they were good... well great! Hot garlic was delicious next time i'm going for Inferno! Sunday service party of 8 service was slow burger was "prime angus beef" put was no difrent then a burger king burger. the roll was huge at least a 1/2 inch gap around my burger. every one got a burger and all with same results, and drinks were not well made at least my bottled beer was tasty. After a 30 min wait for our food 10 min for drinks, we didn't see anyone for another 20 min. after an hour and a half we had paid out bill and moved to the bar. after 25 min i was aproached by the manager joann and asked if there was something wrong with my service wich i said yes it took forever to get food and drinks and then my bill and she said well your tip was not 18 to 20% and i was taken back by this and took my party of now 12 some place else, i remember when this place was good and fun but now the bartender doesn't know how to make mixed drinks and shots is terrible. read more

Went here last night, drinks were way too strong and I couldn't even enjoy it. It was like taking a shot everytime I took a sip. Music sucked, dj was playing nothing up to date and everything from the 80s on a Saturday night. And the biggest thing... I've never had to get searched for weapons at a bar until I walked through these doors which was very uneasy for me. I don't think I ever want to return there because of that. read more

I had the pleasure of having lunch with my girlfriend at Duffers Mill yesterday. We needed a "girls lunch" and she suggested we go here. I couldn't say ANYTHING bad about my experience. The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restaurant is decorated so beautifully for the holidays. I know I will absolutely go back for lunch again. I loved it. UPDATE: I neglected to mention that Duffer's has a shuttle bus that will pick you up and take you home so you are free to enjoy your time at Duffers without driving impaired. This is such a great service and demonstrates such a commitment to safety and to the community. I applaud the owners for that service. read more

We frequently visit this establishment twice a month. We go because of location very close to our home. Otherwise, I would not recommend Duffer's Mill to anyone. They are consistent on one thing, and that is habitually having the worst staff service of any bar/restaurant that we have EVER been to! This location doesn't deserve the one star rating that I'm leaving. Having the service staff to accommodate you with a beverage with your meal is to much to ask for. This has happened on more than one occasion. If you're going to just have drinks at the bar, even with 2/3 full service bartender's be prepared to have to ask for a drink or be ignored. As far as the food quality it is better to eat prior to entering the establishment! You never know what you"ll receive as the dining experience is not worth the time or money. read more

I took my family tonight to Duffers Mill...after a few hours of tiring shopping. we were hungry and tired. we were sat in a comfy booth and had a super friendly server! we had wings before our meal, they were crispy and meaty! our meals were all really good and we didnt wait long either! i had parmesan encrusted chicken alfredo , my hubby had the Jameson chicken with asparagus and the kids loved their burgers! not too pricy either! read more

I had to upgrade this rating from 3 to 4 stars after coming here a few times now. The crab quesadilla is actually really really good. I also love their drink specials - they have different ones for every night of the week that start at 8pm. Happy hour is M-F 5-7. Ultimately, Duffers has great prices for drinks on special, good & decently priced food, and a good amount of traffic on the weekend and during sports games. read more

I frequent this establishment often. Averaging 2-3 times per month, this is a good halfway point for my buddy and I to meet for lunch. He sometimes brings a coworker and so do I. I have my regular order getting the Ham & Cheddar Melt, but I sometimes get the specials. Most of the time, this is a good place with good food. The past two times now, not so much. I went there yesterday without my buddy, got the Ham & Cheddar Melt and something on it tasted funky, like not fresh. I mentioned something to the server and she looked at me like I was crazy. Well, I am not crazy because my buddy just called, went there today with his buddy that has never been, mentioned something about the sandwich tasting funky and that his buddy probably would go back there. Not sure if it was bad ham or what, but it wasnt right. It's a shame because it does have a potential. I will go back, but I am not ordering that sandwich again. read more

Phenomenal food. Chef there is amazing. Service outstanding. If you give this place a bad review you have lost your taste buds or your job there. I go here almost every night. Everyone is like a family. And the sour apples sometimes get in but dont fear they never last. But the great food and service always does. Consistancy is key at restaurants and duffers mill is just that consistant. Good luck at the whiner hill or the closest sunoco. Salut! read more

Service was good however the food left much to be desired. The shrimp Lejon was over cooked. The ribs were dry and tasteless. The steak was overcooked and tough. The casadillas were awful. The best part of the meal was the onion soup. The atmosphere was good and the bar was great. Great band. I would not recommend going there for food. read more

Love being at Duffer's no matter what day of the week. Each day has different lunch/dinner specials, drink specials and different games like quizzo and all that. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. I've come here on so many different occasions from eating out with the whole family, to watching the game and having a few beers. Which by the way, theres a great amount of beers to choose from. Also just a note, I noticed that this website says no takeout, they have both takeout food AND BEER. What a place!! read more

We had a birthday party for twenty at lunch here. The tables were pushed together into tables for ten when we arrived. The food was fine; the service was outstanding. Separate checks were no problem. This was a new restaurant for me. I loved it. read more

We tried to have a birthday, several of us called the place every day for a week, no answer. When we finally did get an answer, we were told for open bar for 2 hours it would be $500 plus 18% grat. (bagged that idea) we call again (another two days before they answered) to find out if we could being a cake in, we were told no outside food. Little tip the other two Duffer's locations are much friendlier and they answer their phones! read more

our favorite local bar! they have great food with awesome specials daily. their servers are always quick and take great care of our table. their bartenders and very friendly and attentive. they also have fun things to do during the week such as quizzo or bar bingo. a few of us agree they have the best french onion soup in the area! read more

I was not happy with my experience last night at the Duffer's Mill. My friend and I are frequent customers and visit the bar at least 3 times a week. We were sitting up front at the main dining area ordering some appetizers and drinks. The waitress got our order wrong and we had to wait to get all of our food out at one time. Not only did we have to correct our order but we had to get our own napkins, silverware, and ketchup. The bill was for $30.00 and there was 3 of us. A small tip was left out of courtesy. We went to the 'game room' section of the bar and was followed by one of the managers Rachel. She interrogated us about why we did not leave a larger tip for the waitress. We proceded to tell her that we did not get good service and we had to get our own utensils and napkins. She was very rude and did not want to leave our side until another tip was given. My friend and I visit this establishment at least 3 times a week and have never been treated so badly. I am very disappointed because this is one of my favorite bar's and I have never spoken badly about it in the past but this pushed me over my limit. I do not know if I will be visiting this bar again in the future due to the fact that we were treated disrespectfully last night. I have never been approached and demanded a larger tip for bad service and I think that it was very inapropriate. read more
