Those days of free admission are long gone, costs have increased, and there is now a Jelly Belly Museum to enjoy. While one visit was more than enough to satisfy my own curiosities, I have since had my own little monster whom at one point was overly in love with these tiny fruity beans. What better way to walk down memory lane than seeing it through the eyes of my very own 6yo?? TOUR ADMISSION PRICES: Adults (Ages 18+): $8 Children (Ages 3-17): $4 Children (Ages 2 and under): Free The tour is self guided, allowing you to go at your own pace in learning about the process of making the jelly beans. FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW IT TAKES 7-14 DAYS TO MAKE A JELLY BELLY JELLY BEANS?? Now, before you get started, there are a few rules that visitors must abide by. 1) Keep your jelly belly hat on at ALL TIMES. I kid you not, the staff will stop and remind you to put it on. 2) Avoid eating and drinking during the tour. 3) Avoid any flash photography. I'm sure this specific rule applies more to the candy actually being in production. My visits have only occurred on the weekends and Jelly Belly only actively produces during the weekday during early hours. Yep, I've never had the pleasure of seeing anything made firsthand but I guess Food Network's UNWRAPPED will have to do... 5/5 Stars because my toddler had the most amazing time. Lunch was extra memorable & cutesy due to the jelly bean shaped foods. Way to stick with the theme!!

Since I've now been there numerous…read moretimes, I skip the tour and cafe, but I always always go to the store, especially the room of discounted items, like new flavors they're trying out that aren't in the branding bags yet or seasonal products. It's sooo worth it to get a bag of my favorite jelly beans for $2.00 or sometimes a specialty item for even $0.50! So fun. I've discovered some new favorites this way. FYI: They are currently remodeling the discount room, which is located on the side where the cafe is, but it is temporarily behind the stairs on the side of the store. Look out for it because it is worth it! There are also little "train rides" in the parking lot, but the schedule is sporadic. The jelly bean art work is still really cool to look at each time I'm there. They sometimes rotate what they display, which is cool. Currently they have Harry Potter jelly beans artwork displayed in the entryway. They've also gotten rid of the free taste tests, which used to be right when you enter. Bummer. That was really fun to taste the bamboozle flavors, like stinky feet or vomit. Haha

I like that you can get just a few of the flavors that you want and you're able to mix and match. Or you also have the option to get pre packaged sets. We settled on a bag of about 2 flavors. We got just a little bit of each, and it was only about $3. I would highly advise that parents help children as it's not hard to over pour quickly. Just like the jelly belly factory, they gave each kid an additional treat with the purchase. This time it was lollipops. The girls working the register was super sweet, and she asked before she gave them to them.

They also carry candy and other goodies. I love nostalgic candy even though I am about 135 pounds but like a nibble here and there! We were under a time constraint so I just bought bubble gum that lights up..like when you were a little kid! The nice lady at the register gave us some history of the store and how long it had been around. Very interesting! Be sure to look at the old photos when you visit! What prompted me to leave a review was the amazing service given to me by the owner or manager of the store. I inquired about soft peanut butter options for my dad and the worker gave me a run down of everything the store had to offer that fit what I was looking for. On top of that, the store has great decor and a little bench you can watch a movie on that my toddler enjoyed. I ended up getting him a toy, filling a bag of candy, and getting a bag of jelly belly's and was pleasant surprised to see the total was only $7! Great pricing, great service, fun ambiance. (A side note: I saw the same worker jog down a couple waiting at a light just to apologize in case they felt they were being ignored which I find to be such a pleasant interaction)

They have such an amazing selection of candy, including so many unique and rare flavors that you don't find just anywhere. And the pickles are definitely a favorite too! They have so many fun and unusual options that it's always exciting to look around and see what new flavors they have. It's the perfect place for a special treat, and my kids always leave happy. The chocolate covered potato chips were a new find and were definitely delicious. I also got some rare flavored pickles which is a weakness of mine. If you're a candy lover or looking for something unique, Candy Heaven is definitely worth checking out!

And I hadn't noticed it at the time, but some of the same flavors were priced differently-- Meaning, one bag of Milk Tea Kit Kats cost $5.99 while another identical bag had a $7.99 tag on it, and the store owner (didn't get her name) didn't correct it at all!
