Duey's has taken care of a few kitchen clogs for us and also installed our water filtration and softener system. The water system they installed for us, we ordered through great time spent in research, which they offered insight on the systems available and the best place to install it in the house .They have always given us realistic estimates and have been fair to us and have done good work. They rerouted some drain pipes in our kitchen in the beginning, which made a big difference. Then treated it like a "no big deal, glad they could help us" and they just charged us for the snaking. The only thing good about this house call was, the worker arrived on time. All I needed was to have the drain in a bathroom sink replaced. I asked if he could replace this drain with a brushed nickel drain, he said he would have to go buy one because he didn't have one with him. I told, just go ahead and use a chrome one then, just do what you need to do to fix the sink drain. He installed the drain. It seemed to operate okay, but after few days I noticed that the rod, used to raise and lower the drain plug, flopped all over the place, but it worked so I went ahead and used it. Then it finally stopped raising & lowering the drain plug. I'm an old man, I tried to fix it myself, but I ended up calling a different plumber. I had a emergency for my rental property. The Tenant were suppose to show up on their move in date and the bath tub knob was broken and I couldn't fix it. I called Duey's plumbing Friday Morning and explained that it needs to be repaired that morning. Wow... they had plans but postpone it little and fixed mine first. I have attempted to use Dueys plumbing on two different occasions, they've never been out to my property this last time Robert actually laughed about the situation I "missed my appointment because I didn't answer the phone" nobody told me it was going to be a different number or to expect a different number and when it came up as spam on my phone what was I supposed to do? I was already at work I couldn't step outside to see if they were in my driveway so they canceled the call today because I said that that situation was not funny at all. It seems to be quite the joke to miss the phone call but they don't give you a heads up that a strange number is gonna be calling, not the office that you actually spoke with so they told me to get a different plumber I'm just sharing that ahead of time get a different plumber, LOL read more

I made a good call by calling Duey's Plumbing today, bottom line up front - I called them at 8:00 AM, they returned my call at 8:41, they were on scene at 9:00 and the work was completed by 9:50. Done and DONE! I had selected Duey's based on their business-provided notes on Yelp - "Family Owned and Operated, Voted Best of Cove in 2011 & 2015 and Voted the Best Plumber by the readers of Copperas Cove Leader Press". I am a fellow Covite so they are a local business and I love to support local businesses. THE PROBLEM: I had a rocky toilet and had initially begun repairing the problem on my own; during the repair I noticed the root of the problem, a cracked toilet flange due to the drain pipe being too tall. I wanted the problem fixed correctly and for good so I called a plumber. THE PLUMBER: It was Kevin who returned my call at about 8:41 AM to let me know that he was about 20 minutes away. He arrived right around 9:00, quickly assessed the problem and went right to work. THE WORKMANSHIP: Kevin knew that he was doing and had the tools needed to get the job done right. He trimmed the too tall drain pipe, installed the proper flange and cemented it into place and reinstalled the toilet. There was a bit of leakage at the tank so he replaced the ball cock, the tank mount bolts and tank gasket, all of which were the 10 year-old original parts. My toilet now sits flush with the floor, does not rock and looks GREAT! THE COST: Just as I was expecting to hear the damages I was informed that I would receive a bill in the mail and that it would reflect about an hour of labor and parts. The bill was not expected to exceed $150, about what I expected. I was prepared to pay my bill in full by cash, check or credit card, which ever was preferred but get this, what if I didn't have the money? Imagine dealing with a similar or, God-forbid, a worse problem and having to wait until your next pay day. I was expecting to cough up some cash, write a check or swipe my credit card to pay for these repairs on the spot, it was a pleasant surprise to hear, "you'll get a bill in the mail". I totally understand why Duey's Plumbing was voted Best in Cove in 2011 and 2015, in my opinion they are well on their way to a repeat for 2016! UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE Ok here is the cost update, I finally received my bill in the mail and get this, the bill was significantly LOWER than I expected to pay; the bill was only $112! That's right, parts & labor were less than $120! Once again, kudos to Duey's Plumbing! read more

I had contacted two different Copperas Cove plumbing companies to see what they would charge to install a replacement bathtub faucet. Neither one returned my call. To this day, I've not heard a word from either of them. I called Duey's Plumbing and spoke to a real person and not an answering machine...which was nice. I had called on a Friday and on the following Tuesday, they showed up and installed my faucet. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up their mess before leaving.
