I drove the 25 minutes from my house to try them out. Trying to find a vet for your fur babies is just like trying to find the right pediatrician for your kids. I took Jack, my 3 pound yorkie in for a first visit and instantly feel in love. The Dr was warm, compassionate and caring. She not only ministered to my pup but also to his nervous mamma as well. I scheduled Jack's neuter 2 weeks after and brought him back in. The receptionist was sweet and caring and assured me all would be well. His surgery went super and I picked him up later that afternoon. I did receive a follow up call the next day to check on Jack's progress. This is an amazing place and will be my go to for all things fur baby related

Never mind the fact that my dog is completely up to date on vaccinations. They had him for approximately 5 minutes in the back to give him the shot. 5 minutes of your time and you charge me $40?! The shot itself is almost $200 but I guess they didn't make enough off the shot. It's so frustrating how vet's always feel the need to scalp you! *** I am updating my review to reflect the discussion I had with the manager. He reached out to me to ask about my review and explained the veterinarians policy as well as why it was a policy. I appreciate that he took the time to reach out, to explain, and to validate my feelings on the matter. While I still think the policy is ridiculous, I understand that is a licensing issue and therefore primarily out of their control. I will be giving them another chance as I feel their communication on this matter warrants that.

I was there with my Aussiedoodle. Rylie and I discussed my dog's itch and what food I should be feeding River to stop the itch. It was so wonderful to talk to someone with the somewhat similar breed of dog. Then Dr. Teagre, was the icing on the cake. She was magnificent!! So sweet and we discussed River's itch and she printed out a picture of the specific dog food to feed to hopefully stop the itch. Dr. Sent home with us ear rinse, ear meds and pills. We've dealt with these issues more than once and Dr. and asst. were very caring and gentle with River. They both put my mind at ease to keep River safe and healthy!!

I trusted them to manage a condition they were already treating. During his stay, Merle had a seizure. I was told he would be monitored, but his seizures were not controlled and his condition worsened. More critically, the records do not reflect escalation to appropriate in-clinic seizure management. In veterinary medicine, ongoing or cluster seizures require timely escalation to longer-acting anticonvulsants to achieve control. Intravenous Phenobarbital is commonly used for this purpose. There is no indication in the records that IV Phenobarbital, or a comparable escalation, was administered or even available at the clinic. Because his seizures were not controlled, Merle's condition escalated to the point that he required transfer to two emergency hospitals, where he was treated for acute liver failure from prolonged seizure activity. His care exceeded $10,000. Based on what I was told by the emergency veterinarians, if he had not been transferred when he was, he likely would not have survived. After this, I was told by the clinic owner that I should be "grateful" he was transferred and she heralded Dr. Brongo a hero, as though there were some alternative to transferring him other than him dying. I was still charged for boarding, staff appeared unaware he had even been transferred when I returned, and no one from the clinic ever followed up on his condition or apologized. I filed a complaint with the Texas Veterinary Board, which declined to take disciplinary action against Dr. Brongo. While that was disappointing, I hope that during the course of that investigation she thought about the fact that she almost killed my baby every single day. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

We've relied on Woof Animal Hospital through several difficult situations over the past year, and I…read moregenuinely appreciate the care they've provided. They helped us through hospice care and eventually saying goodbye to our German Shepherd, Diego, last December. Then, just six months later, we went through the same experience with our pittie - Sammie. In both situations, the staff was compassionate, patient, and respectful of what our family was going through. Most recently, we rushed our German Shepherd, Gunner, in with what I feared was bloat. Thankfully, it wasn't, but he was diagnosed with a severe prostate infection requiring immediate treatment. They were able to get him in quickly, address the situation, and provide the care he needed. He's now home recovering! Having experienced everything from routine veterinary visits to emergencies, hospice care, and euthanasia, we've seen firsthand how this team handles a wide range of situations. Good veterinary care matters, but so does how you're treated during stressful and difficult circumstances -- professionalism, communication, and genuine concern.
