Our kitty Farty started bleeding one day, stopped eating and moving. We took him to an emergency vet, and they basically said there was nothing they could do, and he was fine. After 3 days or trying to get to eat, drink, ect we, we feared that we would have to put him down. He was fading quickly, and we hated watching him suffer. My mom wanted to try and took him here, and thanks to the doctors collaborating and trying to figure out what was wrong, they were able to bring him back to his old self after weeks of care. He had a severe undiagnosed UTI, hyperthyroidism, and possible IBD. He was on deaths door, we were so heartbroken, and because of the caring of this vet, they were able to bring him back to his old self. I also recently brought my kitty Tiny in a panic due to her not keeping any food or liquid down, and they fit me in and were extremely understanding even though they were short staffed that day. This is the best vet I've been too and I always feel listened to, and I feel like they care about the animals so much. Every time I'm here, the phones are ringing off the hook, and I can see why. This is possibly the best vet in the area.

One visit I'm told what's wrong with my dog, and then later it's presented as something completely different without a clear explanation. Instead of leaving with confidence, I leave feeling confused. One experience that really stood out was when the veterinarian said my dog's skin was glowing under the light because of ringworm. She told me she was showing me, but moved the light so quickly that I never actually saw what she was referring to. When I said I didn't see anything, I still wasn't given a clear explanation. It left me feeling like I was expected to just accept what I was being told without understanding it. Communication has also been very inconsistent. I've had about four different staff members give me different answers about how many DAPP vaccines my dog needed. When I explained that my dog had already received the previous doses and only needed one more, I was simply told, "Well, that's up to the vet." It's expected that the staff should have consistent information, but that doesn't seem to happen. Overall, I feel like communication is poor and concerns aren't taken seriously and they try to milk you for money. Because of these experiences, I've decided to take my dogs elsewhere for future care. Please be very vigilant and pay attention to how they respond because I caught on.

I brought my small dog to this facility after she fell and hurt her leg. After a six hour wait they…read moredid x-rays and told me there were no fractures or dislocations. They gave her a shot for pain/inflammation and sent me home with meds for pain/inflammation. On follow up at our regular vet just looking at the x-rays on my phone, she could tell something was not right. I sent them the X-rays (the same ones taken at Animal Emergency Center of Killeen) and they were able to identify and show me three fractures in her foot as well as damage in her elbow and shoulder. I am very frustrated that so little care was taken with my pet at this clinic.
