Description of his voicemail to me
Kristan S.

I waited two weeks to get my cat in and spayed and gave me a quote of 160$ for spay, flea and worming. I waited two weeks because that's what they said they were out. I got there and they gave me a 335$ quote. Then started knocking the price down. I love my cat and at this point I just didn't feel safe leaving her. If you want to have to haggle your prices and waste your time then definitely go to the Jarrell animal hospital. Swindlers and liars. I'm all about paying what's right. But they literally quoted me one price and gave me a completely different price once I was in the store. I also told them I was worried she might be pregnant and they told me they can terminate no problem. They just had no empathy towards me or my pet. Update ** So then after this place gave me a quoted price, had me wait two weeks and then double what they said once they got me in there, call me at 7:30 am in the morning having me confused with another patient. This animal hospital is a joke and I would be very concerned bringing my family pets here. They just seem uneducated and very unprofessional. I called about a cat weeks ago and I posted today where the vet personally called me about a litter of puppies that has nothing to do with me. Also calling BBB to let them know how they are price gouging and false advertising over the phone. Already have a voice clip of a quoted price they gave my friend after calling in.

Storm I.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The receptionist was rude and disrespectful to me. She didn't understand basic vaccination protocols or required vaccines. It took forever to find out the Vet was in an emergency and would be a while. Discovered fecal test is 77 dollars and urinalysis 40. I think they are trying to pay for that brand new building and over staffing. They are definitely gaugers and profiteers. I doubt they care much for animals. Very sad to find this out. Was truly hoping we would find a really good local clinic.

Kitty cats

We adopted a few kitty cats from Georgetown Animal Shelter and this office is one that supports them and offers a free first visit. They were a quick drive from our Gtown home and the Dr was kind and compassionate. Also, we liked that Dr. Carlton is a veteran. Did I mention reasonable prices? Yep, those too!

When she arrived, my baby had a rush of energy and wanted to play outside in the grass. She assured me that it was okay to take our time and let her enjoy outside one last time. We sat and she listened to my stories about her life, and when she wanted to go inside, we went in and she was given the sedative. She was so peaceful and laid in her bed. Then, she passed while the doctor and I talked about her life and how wonderful she was. It was the hardest day of my life, but the easiest day of my sweet baby Gracie's. It was worth every penny. I have never seen such a peaceful ending. There are not words big enough to communicate my gratitude. The end of her life was so sacred, which is more than most of us people get. This has helped my grieving process immensely. I know for certain this was the best ending that could have been for my sweet angel. Thank you so much.

I think everyone should be upset with them holding medication ransom to treat a $2.00 sick chicken, demanding a $85 dollar fee even before the cost of the medication. It's claimed I berated their receptionist wit profanity when actually I was berating the situation. The receptionist took it upon herself to to become offended at me being upset. After I canceled an upcoming appointment telling them I would take my business elsewhere. I received a return call where I was told I was no longer welcome there with my other Animals (that they have received THOUSANDS of dollars for treating in the past two years) as if they are on some type of higher moral grounds with their demonstration of fake compassion and empathy for MONEY. So the takeaway from all this is to understand there is no loyalty points or frequent user awards given here if you show you're a real person and get upset or see their act for what it is - they will simply let your animals die rather than care for them. In addition if they can survive and be fine without the thousands and thousands of dollars I spend there annually, they obviously don't need your money either. Apparently they have pulled the wool over enough people eyes and hold enough medication for ransom from sick animals to keep them in the $$$ for quite some time. Unfortunately, the needless death of Bloomers the chicken is inevitable. Ironically, I doubt the needless death of Bloomers will have near the emotional effect on their receptionist as one of their customers getting upset. They may need to relearn to fake their understanding and compassion to include the fact that people get angry and upset at times. Beware! you are being recorded and they will threaten to use those recording to attempt undermining any negative review. Perhaps be aware of any other undisclosed recording devices being used at this establishment, you just never know.

He starts making these deep throaty growls that make him seem more like a "feral hog" than a pug. It's scary sometimes the sounds he makes. It took three trips to this venue to finally get him acclimated to the team. Dr. McJett and her team is so patient and supportive of our little maniac. She has recommended so many helpful tips to help us. Our Max had an ear infection and he would not put us treat him at home. After several attempts, Dr. McJett was able to pack it and allow the healing to begin. At least to a point where we could start home treatment. Other local vets were unsuccessful. I Love the fact that they will always give you a price estimate upfront, before they start the service. No surprises. No "Invoice Shock". Just honest upfront cost reports.
