I have been to multiple places to receive laser treatments over the past 5 years and Restorative Laser Thearpy is my go-to! I get multiple areas done (from more personal brazilian treatments to simpler lower arm treatments) and I feel comfortable with Daniel throughout my entire appointment. Heathrye has also treated me in the past and is great too! If you want good conversation during treatments for distraction, you can expect that. I have also been in moods where I don't want to talk during a treatment (usually more painful areas), and they do a good job feeling that out and respond accordingly. There have been times where I just up-front tell Daniel to not talk to me while he is treating an area, and I feel absolutely no judgement with being that blunt. They totally can sense and understand your preferences and just want you to be comfortable. Most of the time I do talk with Daniel during my treatments and the conversation flows really easy. It is really easy to schedule appointments on their website and they usually have openings the next week which is great if you struggle to plan in advance like me. Scheduling online allows you to make an appointment whenever, versus having to find a private moment to call the office during typical working hours. Online scheduling is a big plus for me. They are really easy to contact. I will text the number on their website and typically get a response that same day (if during work hours). Due to receiving laser treatments at different places over the years, I have a good idea what lasers work best. Their lasers work really well. I like that their lasers allow a continuous treatment, meaning the laser can glide over your skin versus having to pick it up and re-set on skin each time. This makes me feel confident that no spots are missed. Although, the lasers can still be re-set on your skin each time to pinpoint an area, which is helpful for smaller specific areas. Their Stillwater office is smaller compared to other laser places I have been to and the doctors themselves are the ones at the front desk. I prefer this because it makes it really easy to get in and out without having to wait in a waiting room with a bunch of people or check-in with receptionists. This aspect of their business has particularly been amazing during Covid because I haven't had to worry about being in contact with other people. Although, before Covid, I rarely encountered other patients. Overall, they are really easy going, yet professional, and get the job done well. I highly recommend. -KD read more

Thanks Due North for a great first-time experience (Coon Rapids location)! My guy bought me one of their Groupon deals as a Birthday/Christmas gift to get laser hair removal for both of my full legs - and due to the great experience I had at Due North, I believe I will continue to do treatments for other areas like my upper lip, armpits, and bikini area once I'm finished with my legs. My guy did end up having to buy additional treatments, as the Groupon gets you 'in the door' and started on a treatment program, but won't pay for all 9-12 sessions you may need for complete permanent hair removal. Either way, it makes a healthy dent in your overall cost - and buying additional treatments is affordable (they also offer payment plans and financing). Dr. Dan is kind, knowledgeable, and keeps things relaxed and not at all awkward. I, myself, experienced nearly zero pain on my treatments on apparently one of the higher laser levels. Their cooling gel and cooling system really keep things comfortable. I appreciate the reminder emails for my upcoming appointments, the texting options, the ease in canceling or rescheduling, and the flexible hours they offer. This office seems like a newer practice that is just getting itself known and I'm sure will one day upgrade and redefine their space and their brand. I really got the feeling that they not only cared for you as a person but also made sure to provide the best service all around. They are what makes small practices so much better than larger corporation type entities.
