This is my review from the when they were located at the Roseville/St Paul Clinic off Rice St:
"I normally don't write reviews... But this place was honestly horrible and I felt extremely uncomfortable and violated. I bought a "Consultation and Massage" off of Groupon.
When I arrived at the "clinic/office", I had no idea if I was even in the right spot. On Groupon they called themselves "Advanced Spinal Care and Rehab". Apparently that's not their real name? All I saw was a dirty old sign that said Dr John's Chiro Office or something. And not to mention, the "office" was in a building primarily selling pool tables, arcade games, and whatnot.
I walk into the office and the receptionist doesn't even acknowledge me. Doesn't even look up. So I walk up to the desk and finally she looks up and asked "what I needed". I explained to her that I had a massage and she said okay and to wait while the Dr gets ready.
Dr John took me back, into this dirty, little side room. He proceeds to ask why I was there and I told him I was just here for a massage. He then states that the $29 goes strictly to Groupon and that he did not make any money. So he'd like me to buy another massage from his office, through them. And he proceeds to hand me a coupon stating I will only have to pay $50 instead of a whopping $75 next time. I told him I would think about it.
He then starts his "consultation". He asks me what I do for work and I tell him. He proceeds to insult me, stating that since I'm in the medical field, it's sad to see someone in such "poor" health in his office. I tell him I do go to my own chiropractic office and he proceeds to insult my Dr. Stating that if I still have headaches, he must not be a real doctor and that my Dr has no idea what he's doing. After all of this, he then asks me if I would like to buy another massage... I state that I'm not sure yet (I hadn't even had the first massage yet). He then takes the coupon out of my hand... Very unprofessional.
He walks me across his old, dirty clinic. To a room with a 16 year old looking girl wearing converse shoes and an old basketball shirt. With a bull piercing in her nose. Her name was Haley. Haley had no idea what she was doing throughout the whole massage. I mean, she tried. But it felt like this was the first massage she's ever done. She legitimately hurt me. I walked out in more pain than when I first came in.
She had asked what hurt the most. I had told Haley that my upper back and neck hurt the most. She proceeded to then rub my lower back and my BUTT. I have never had a massage therapist rub my butt for 2/3 of the time, but she achieved it. She never rubbed my neck once. I felt so violated, molested.
Normally, you take all your clothes off, besides underwear, right? NOPE, the moment I walked into that place, I knew I'd be keeping most of my clothing on. Very, very uncomfortable experience.
I called the clinic back about a week later to inform them how violated I felt; I couldn't stop thinking about it. When I stated her name was Haley, they told me they didn't have a massage therapist named Haley. EXCUSE ME?! How absolutely creepy. Something does not add up about the place."
I am not the only person this has happened to here now. If I could give this place -100 stars I would. They really should be shut down. read more
