Called Wed. morning to get an update. was told they hadn't gotten to it yet and they would see if they could get it in and finished and would call me back and let me know. Finally got a return call at 3:40 and told "We don't work on Dodge rear ends". They knew Mon. what I had and what the issue was and didn't say a word about not working on Dodge. Kept my truck for 2 days knowing they weren't going to touch it. WTF? That's 2 days it could have been at another shop getting repaired. Do not use this shop unless you want to be lied to and have your time wasted.

Be patient if you leave a couple voicemails with days in between a call back (or weeks). When you're good it means you're busy. Then stop worrying once you're booked because this will be a less expensive journey than usual. You'll get a legit assessment of what needs done, and no pressure to change those filters or wiper blades (or timing belt) if you don't want to. No frills means low overhead; gravel lots with a few cars like the windows-down 2-door Mercedes parked means you're not paying for all the marketing. It's just car-fixing like it should be. Last time I went in thinking I needed a complete wiper reservoir replacement. Nope, just a wiper fluid hose for pretty cheap. We'll keep coming back since cars don't fix themselves. Currently I'm not at all fretting about our teenager's car we just had towed in after stalling in an intersection. How bad could it be? And of course I'll continue wondering how much he'd charge to get that old Mercedes in his lot back on the road. Probably just needs new wipers and an air filter, once we get that driver-side window closed.

I cannot recommend Alpha Auto Center enough!…read more David has been taking care of my vehicles since **2018**, and I honestly wouldn't trust my cars with anyone else. As a teacher, I truly appreciate having a mechanic who understands the importance of staying within a budget without sacrificing quality. Over the years, I've gone to him for everything from unexpected car emergencies to routine repairs, and he has always been gracious, effective, and efficient. No matter how busy he is, he somehow finds a way to fit me into his schedule when I have an urgent issue. That level of customer service is rare these days. What really sets David apart is his integrity. He stands behind his work and takes responsibility for every repair his shop performs. If something isn't quite right or you're not completely satisfied, he'll make it right. That kind of accountability gives me tremendous peace of mind. Another reason I've remained a loyal customer for so many years is the quality of the parts and workmanship. David doesn't cut corners. The parts he uses are dependable, and his repairs last. The value you receive for both the parts and labor is outstanding because you're not constantly returning for the same repair. His experience and years in the automotive industry are evident in the way he diagnoses problems accurately and fixes them correctly the first time. Finding an honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy mechanic is not easy, but David and the team at Alpha Auto Center have consistently earned my trust. If you're looking for quality work, fair pricing, excellent customer service, and someone who genuinely cares about his customers, I highly recommend Alpha Auto Center.

I perform all maintenance on our cars except the oil changes because if we sell it shows maintenance history for oil changes. That being said they kept me there for 4 hours trying to scam me into purchasing replacement parts that were already brand new and had been replaced already. One example was the battery, it was only a month old and from that point I knew they were going to keep trying to scam. Another scam they tried was charging me for a tire rotation on a Camaro which the front tires are smaller than the rear which is offset so they had to give me my money back for that and they gave me hard to about that which I would call stealing when you take money and not want to give it back. This went on for 4 hours when a had a scheduled oil change and other customers were coming and going also getting oil changes. This is the main reason why I took my wife's car for her this time so I can see the BS they try to pull with women not knowing I work on cars too. This happens at many dealers like Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet being the worst. Over the last 2 decades I have purchased a lot of cars but this is the worse experience I have ever had for just a basic oil change. Be careful out here with your hard earned money because the dealer does not work in your best interest. Be safe....

This will take more money, time and frustration. Pat failed to address that I asked him to quote the job prior to work being done, and instead he completed the work and then demanded what I felt was overcharging based on the scope of work. This is not how to professionally conduct one self. Mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and me having to discover his shoddy work later is the issue. The money is not the issue, but the approach he took is unethical. If you are okay with a mechanic that's untrustworthy, unreliable, unprofessional and takes zero accountability, this is the mechanic for you! If you choose to use this business you have been warned. I recommend having a backup professional to fix this guy's mistakes, and then plan on paying for work more than once. Like I stated earlier, mistakes happen, it's unfortunate this guy has no intention of learning from them. Communication is key. Don't cover up your mistakes and not take ownership. It makes you look bad. I do not recommend using this mechanic. I asked for a quote to remove locking lugs nuts on my wife's Kia, and after completing the job Patt told me the price which I thought sounded too high and was expecting to get a quote prior to the work being done, not after. I explained that I had no idea it was going to cost that much and he knocked $100 off the price. Later I discovered that Pat and another young man that works for him, had cross threaded 3 wheel studs on 2 different wheels. Given the time, money and frustration I would recommend saving your hard earned money and contacting a professional mechanic. I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of integrity and poor communication are just bad business. Lesson learned on my end. I will never trust this guy to touch another vehicle again.

I recently brought my 2003 Mustang GT Convertible to the AAMCO location in Hiram, GA in mid June…read more2026 to have the transmission evaluated because I was hearing a knocking sound around 2500-3000 RPM. After a test drive, Phil Esposito - the GM - felt the transmission was likely the source of the problem. I asked for a rough cost estimate and was told it would probably fall between $4,500 and $5,500, depending on what they found once they opened it up. From the beginning, I shared a concern that the issue might not be transmission-related at all and could be coming from the engine or possible two issues all together, one transmission, one engine. I was very clear that I didn't want to invest heavily in transmission work if there was also an engine problem. Phil stated he understood and agreed with that concern and said to best address my concerns they would check the engine as well. After the engine assessment, I was told the engine appeared fine and the transmission was indeed the culprit. With that information I approved moving forward with the transmission repair process. Phil communicated well throughout the process and provided photos of the transmission components that needed attention. Ultimately, the recommended solution was a full rebuild, which brought the cost to over $7,000. I agreed to move forward based on the understanding that the transmission was the issue. Once the repair was completed, the knocking sound at 2500 RPM was still present. When I brought the car back, Phil determined the noise was coming from the engine and was "normal" for the mileage (nearly 250K), and that the engine should still last for some time. I want to be clear that I'm not upset with Phil or the team. I believe they did quality work and communicated openly. My frustration comes from the fact that I would not have proceeded with such an expensive transmission repair had I known there was still an underlying engine issue. I've owned this car for 14 years and care about it deeply, but now I'm left unsure about driving it any real distance because of concerns about the engine. I appreciate the effort that went into the repair, but I don't feel that my initial concern--avoiding major transmission work if an engine problem also existed--was fully accounted for in the final decision. It appears my lack of automotive repair knowledge contributed to this issue.
