We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. My intent is to address the integrity of the owner. In December of 2025, one of their trucks clipped the front end of my car. Nothing serious, but $2000.00 worth of damage. The driver contacted the owner and I was told that the owner would pay for the damage rather than turn it into insurance. I provided him with the estimate and have attempted to contact him multiple times to find out what is going on. He has not responded at all, despite his voicemail stating that he will return your call ASAP. I am now faced with hiring an attorney and pursuing this legally. I don't know about anyone else, and his company may do excellent work, but I would have difficulty trusting anyone who I feel has no integrity.
