I got estimates from 3 companies including Ireland Contracting for a new roof. I liked Adam's from Ireland's venting plan the best and their price was right in line with the others. Everything went as expected. The crew was very friendly and arrived on time. They were fast -- done by mid afternoon. They cleaned up thoroughly. Disappointing. They say storm damage, but apparently only do so if they can get a whole roof job out of it. Excuse was too far away (40 minutes). So they wouldn't even come out and look. It's extremely frustrating dealing with roofing contractors. This was the second in as many days to let us down. We do have one coming out today, and will review that one as well. We will be needing a roof replacement either now or in the next few years (fairly large and complicated, so pretty expensive), but won't be contacting Ireland. read more

I was extremely pleased with Ireland Contracting. I was so happy with the roof replacement and new gutters for my house that I contracted with them again for new siding. I never even bothered to get another estimate. When the recent storm took off some of my shingles, I called them and told them that since my damage was so minimal that I knew I was not a priority. However, they came to my house in a few days and repaired the shingles. read more

Absolutely zero complaints! The process of assessing the house to replace fire damaged roof, shingles siding, gutters and downspouts was a hassle free project for me. This is going to be a long post, but I think the review is worthy of it.... I contacted Ireland to add a roof over my existing deck and a dog ramp off to the side of the deck in late August of 2023. I got 3 requests and went with the middle of the road quote. I requested for the dog ramp to be put in before the snow started flying end of October. Which they did, just in the nick of time. I wasn't completely happy with the outcome, as I wanted low maintenance, and it was wood, the workmanship was about average and a number of other little things. Then the roof was to be put on by 1st of the year. Well, it was done right after the first of the year, not a major issue. But there were a number of small issues here as well. I attempted to work with my sales guy, but we didn't have much of a positive working relationship, so I contacted the office and was put in touch with the head salesperson. He was WONDERFUL to work with. He took an interest in what I had to say, made a visit to my house to see firsthand what my concerns were and asked me what I was hoping for as a resolution, then provided me what he thought he could actually do for me. He had to run it by the top dog before committing. Which he did on the date he promised to get back to me on (to my surprise). So, I had some issues to take care of on my end, so I waited a bit to contact them to tell them I was ready to go, well, I was told they needed to order the supplies (really, you knew what you needed why wasn't this order placed weeks ago?) --- he explained to me with the heat and storm, the crews weren't working full days and were behind (which makes sense) and he would try to get me in before the 4th of July. Well, the following Wednesday (still time to plan a 4th of July picnic) he contacted me and informed me the crew would be out in the morning to get things taken care of.... about 9 guys came out, did what needed to be done within 4 hours and it looks AWESOME!!!! Exactly how I wanted it to begin with. I LOVE IT! The point of me writing this review is, people/businesses get busy, we all make mistakes and most people (like me) get so frustrated because this was a big chunk of money for me to be dishing out and to know the higher ups of this company took the time to LISTEN to me and make things right make all the issues seem small. So, with that being said, all companies make mistakes, so, if you are looking for one that is really concerned about you in the end, I wouldn't hesitate in going with Ireland.... good luck to all of you! read more

Just a quick shout out regarding my very recent experience with Ireland Contracting. After the gusty storms that passed through the Allegheny County area earlier in the month, I discovered some siding had partially tore off my home. After contacting Ireland, they were quick to respond (within the week) and expertly restored the siding in short order. Don't rely on just anyone to do home repairs, or you'll be sorry.
