If I could rate this less than 1 star I definitely would. Purchased a 2016 VW Passat from Ducky Cars and less than a week later the check engine light came on. Less than a week after that the EPC (Electronic Power Control) light came on. The coils went out, the electronic system was destroyed, the coils damage caused serious misfires and engine damage. Spark plugs were bad, car oil was bone dry when I went for my initial oil change after purchase. Cost for repairs exceeded $2,000 dollars. Ducky's owner said his mechanic could not locate these issues and should not have been able to determine that the car was problematic prior to purchase. Owner shared that we should have brought it back to him even though he shred with us on the day of purchase you are buying it "as is." Owner said it's to late to discuss repairs or reimbursement. I thought I was getting a good car at a decent price, however, we discovered we purchased a a grade A lemon. Beware of the owner and his shady tactics. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing. read more

My experience with Ducky Cars was a positive one. I bought a 2016 Volvo XC90. The pricing was fair and they were easy to deal with. My only issues so far have been with the check engine light. The first time it came on, it needed a new O2 sensor. It came on again the other day and it apears to be the fuel sensor. I believe these are to be expected in a car with almost 120,000 miles. Be very careful when you buy a vehicle from Ducky Cars. I purchased a 2006 SUV from Ducky Cars "As Is". Before purchase I was given an opportunity to test drive it and could have taken it to a mechanic. I was informed about a number of warranties that were available for the vehicle. Without letting a mechanic look at it the SUV was purchased along with a one year full warranty with unlimited mileage. On the drive home I noticed the vehicle was swaying once I got on the highway. The next day I started to see stains on my driveway. I took the vehicle to a mechanic to have it looked at and there were some minor and major issues. Contacted the warranty company and they said that my warranty was not valid because the dealership had agreed to make certain repairs on vehicles before selling it for the warranty to be valid. After many phone calls and emails I finally spoke to the dealership and they said that was not the case and that the warranty company should fix it. I asked the dealership and the warranty company to provide this information in writing so I can take it to the other company and both refused to put anything in writing. After some back and forth on this the dealership said to get my money back from the warranty company. I called the warranty company and they said to get my money back from the dealership. Long story short: I have a vehicle that is dangerous to be driving on the road. I have no warranty for said vehicle. I have not received my money back for the warranty. Of course the vehicle cannot be returned because it was purchased as is. read more

Bought a car from them, it did not last 1 month. They said it had recently been serviced and only had 30-40 miles on it since last service. The mechanic said it had no oil in it and now needs a new engine. Also said it was so rusty underneath that they could not take engine out from underneath or they would break stuff. I contacted Ducky before having an engine put in, they said the most they could do is if I towed it to them is to have their mechanic look at it and TRY to diagnose the problem. They also said their mechanics are not very good and can only handle the real easy stuff. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING HERE, OR AT LEAST HAVE THE VEHICLE THOROUGHLY CHECKED OUT BY A GOOD MECHANIC FIRST!!! read more
