My decision was based on several factors: 1. The vehicle was the most realistic of the 3, being in the best shape, the maintenance history, and the model. 2. I also chose based on the reviews from this dealer. 3. My salesrep Zak and the owner Sam (and all the employees) are good and honest people. 4. Price and quality with ability to purchase a warranty. I haven't bought a used vehicle at a dealership in many years, and this experience was top-rated. My salesrep Zak was friendly, professional and most of all HONEST. I won't go into too much detail here yet I must state that anyone buying a used car from a dealership (as is) should know that there are no guarantees. You should very thoroughly research the vehicle you are looking to buy beforehand so you will know if there are known issues. Zak and I discussed the pros and cons of vehicle (I was already very familiar with my vehicle as I had bought only this truck for the past 30 years. The truck had everything I needed except for one option, and so we negotiated having that option installed by the dealer, which they did, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and the quality of integrity these folks showed. Before buying here I looked at their reviews and while almost all were 5 star, there were a few "unsatisfied" customers, and I noted they were almost all from reviewers who obviously didn't do their research. They made me fill out a comprehensive application to check me out, so I in turn thought that they would be fair minded people. I could not have been more WRONG! After having the car only 5 days it failed to crank. I know that I signed paperwork that released them of any legal responsibility for the mechanical failing of the vehicle, but a reasonable expectation would be that the car last longer than 5 days. A decent person would feel a moral obligation to their customer, but regrettably not so with H and H Auto Sales in Canton, GA. When I called to ask what, if anything they planned to do for me, the person taking my call went immediately on the defensive, and put me through to the owner who told me he didn't like my attitude and his exact words were "you're about to see my bad side." This sounded a little threatening to me. He then said "bring my car back" to which I replied "... um it won't crank, remember?" I then asked if I would get my down payment back and the answer was "no, do you not remember the paperwork you signed?" Please remember that at no time did I curse, use fowl language of any kind, or raise my voice. I was not happy, and I'm sure that was apparent, but I was not rude. I even apologized to this bully of a man even though I didn't feel I owed him one, and wound up in tears. If I had been a man, I doubt he would have spoken to me that way. Buying a used car is risky, and I thought I did all the right things to ensure I was getting the best deal under the circumstances. I've had dealings with used Buy Here Pay Here car lots in the past, and if anything went wrong with the car before the first week was up, they always made it right even though they were not legally bound to do so. Questions that any person out of state would ask to make sure a vehicle was worth a phone call after the fact. The first reply from the dealership was "call us" all while ignoring my email and questions. I replied asking them to address my questions. No reply. I sent them another email, this time directly, no reply what so ever. If a dealership it to lazy to help you out, answer an email and so on, they do not care and are NOT selling anything. They are just waiting for a sucker to come along and hand them money.
