Buster Buddies injured my dog while grooming and when I posted a review describing what happened…read morethey were not truthful about what really occurred. I don't know if the owner was aware of what transpired because I never had a chance to even show the owner a picture of my dogs paws because the groomer was so loud and obnoxious. In the owner's written response she said I did not provide a time stamped photo. This is not true, I did provide a time stamped photo to the groomer and the groomer knows this. My dog's paws were razor burned and when I returned home with him I noticed a few spots of light blood on the floor and only then investigated further. The groomer kept yelling "you didn't say anything about his paws when you left." Yes, that is correct. I don't inspect my dog before leaving from a grooming appointment. I did not call to complain about his paws because I have never had a problem with grooming services in the past, so I decided to address it with the groomer at his next 12 week appointment. It wasn't my intention to stop using their services initially, I only wanted validation on her part to make sure it doesn't happen in the future. The groomer became verbally combative. I then left the room and went to speak with the owner and the groomer followed me. The owner implied I wanted to " make a deal". What I was looking for is reassurance that this wouldn't happen again, which I made known to the groomer. To imply anything else is wrong! The owner said absolutely nothing while the groomer continued her verbal assaults, accusing me of lying. I am now responding to Buster Buddies response of my original review because their description of the event that transpired is not correct. I wish I noticed their response sooner because I certainly would have responded. I believe both the owner and groomer handled the situation inappropriately. I was not hostile when I approached the groomer, only asking her to be more careful. I guess that was the wrong thing to say because she became belligerent and the owner allowed her to act in this manner. I would NOT recommend Buster Buddies for their grooming services.

Definitely do not recommend taking your dog here. My large golden doodle would be miserable for days after leaving this place. They would tell me they had to shave him completely after asking specifically not to. I was told once that if I didn't want him shaved down completely (because it made him sore and uncomfortable) that I was welcome to take him home and brush him better. For context I have been complimented by other groomers past and present on how well we keep him brushed. The staff is rude, they inexplicably take far longer than expected and will leave your dog sore uncomfortable and anxious to save themselves the "trouble" of doing the job correctly and humanely.
