The Basics: Duck Donuts is a donut and coffee shop which offers fresh, made to order donuts in a variety of creative flavors. We visited on opening day and loved it! Things I like: I love that the donuts here are so fresh and you can see your donuts being prepared one by one. The flavors provide something for everyone and I loved everything we tried! My favorites were the glazed with sprinkles and the cinnamon bun donuts, but they are all great! My husband also got an egg, sausage, and cheese breakfast sandwich in a donut bun and he loved it. Things I didn't like: Nothing! It was all great and they handled opening day chaos like pros! Overall, I am so thrilled Duck Donuts opened in the Carrollwood area and we will definitely be returning again and again!

Making the donuts --- lots of icing on the apron

Food - 3 stars Good flavors but nothing exciting. The dough is very dense and heavy. Donuts are decorated very pretty, but I was not wow with overall taste Service - 1 star I was a bit concerned that those making the donuts wipe excess icing on their apron in between making each donut. Hopefully they are washed really well as it doesn't seem sanitary.

Always great flavors and choices. We stop here often. The beauty of these donuts is the actual donut. Is cake but yet it's light and has great flavor. The toppings are an added bonus.

I like being able to custom order each donut. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon around 4pm and got very professional friendly service. The donuts were made fresh & hot right in front of me. Overall definitely 5 stars for service and cleanliness. Overall 4 stars review because of taste & price.

First let me say: The owners are AMAZING! I didn't even know that's who was helping me until I inquired, as they were so kind and patient with me as I processed alll the amazing options! A literal breath of fresh air & to be honest, I'd come back just to say 'Hi' to the staff they were so kind. I ordered the glazed donut because I think it's always the truest example of the type of donut you're going to get. Normally I'm not a cake donut person but I was sold immediately! It's not super dense like most, it's light, airy, and tasted like a funnel cake, which I love! I created a donut which was basically the Sand Dollar with strawberry icing. Another very delicious choice! I read a few of the other reviews and I think it's important to understand it's a new establishment and if you're dealing with some inconveniences, extend some grace. Everyone should be allowed the opportunity to learn and grow. The place is small, but it's perfect enough to get your order and maybe sit outside. Pricing is also fair compared to other donut locations that offer specialty donuts like this and truthfully it's worth it compared to others. Overall I'm very glad I randomly decided to stop in after seeing this place open for awhile. So grateful you all are here!

The donuts, outstanding... crunch, warm, soft... all the things... but what really sets this place apart, are the people operating this place. I have never walked into a place and felt so welcomed by the people running the place. So sincere and pleasant.... and then we took bite of the yunmiest donut... amazing I promise I will go back. promise!

This Duck Donuts recently opened and the whole community went bananas! Had to pick up a dozen for my office ladies and I to try- it did not disappoint!! We got a variety box and still did not scratch the surface of all there was to offer! The store is amazing! Employees friendly and I love how you can watch the whole process of seeing your donut creations being made! And the smell.... Hot donuts will make anyone happy! My personal favorite was the maple bacon donut! These donuts are a little pricey at around $25 for the dozen but we are worth it!!

The two working today were so warm and hospitable, they had a smile on from the moment we walked in the door. Made my 3 year old so happy with engaging with her and stickers! Such a great experience for such a short amount of time.

had an awesome experience here today!!! the staff was so so friendly and patient with me being a first time customer! i got a sandwich on the maple bacon donut and it was TO DIE FOR! (and also the same price as a breakfast sandwich at mcdonald's or dunkin/starbucks) the store was very clean and organized and made ordering very easy! can't wait to visit again soon! thanks for such great service!

However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. I've brought people coffee from here, and each person has agreed that it's some of the best we've had in Tampa recently. The ambiance is interesting - it's in a kitchen store. But it works! Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.

The staff... both the guy with the tablet who took my order while I was in the drive-thru line-and the gal at the window-were so warm, friendly, chill and helpful. I'd go back just to bask in their positivity! But kindness isn't the only thing on the menu. There's coffee, tea, plant-based energy drinks, Italian sodas... and dozens (I think 75) of flavors you can add to them. In a fist visit, I usually start with chai tea latte... but today I asked for suggestions and ended up with a hot hibiscus tea with added pear flavoring. It was so floral and different! Hello new year! This knocked "the usual" on its head. I'm not sure that it will end up being my favorite offering here, but yeah... here's to shaking things up! I also tried the rainbow bagel-which was pretty and tasty. I liked the chew. Next time I'll try the strawberry cream cheese with it. There are filled croissants, too... but I forgot to ask about the flavors-and you can get mini donuts, too. White Duck was founded by a couple of Seattle transplants, who wanted to bring the "two windows in a shed" model of Pacific Northwest coffee shops to the Bay Area. And that's exactly what this is-a drive thru-no indoor seating-and I didn't see any outdoor tables, either. This is grab and go. But there's parking behind the building, if you want to sit and savor a bit. The shop is way up on North Dale Mabry-near Van Dyke-on the east side, right next to a Wendy's. It wasn't busy when I first got there but there at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning, but it soon picked up. I can see why... it's so convenient and the staff is so nice. They really stand out. I can't wait to stop in again and try more! I read on the website that the owners lost a child to cancer and part of the proceeds from each purchase goes to research. Well now I just have to try all those 75 flavors! See you soon, White Duck!

It's run by a group of women who feel welcoming & happy to see you, in the way they greet you and move with purpose behind the counter. Service is fast, friendly, and they make it look effortless. Their drinks? Always on point. They made me a cookie butter latte -- iced, hot, whatever it technically was -- and it was ridiculously good. Their breakfast-style bites hit the spot too. The muffins, the bagels... I can't even remember everything I've tried, but I remember it all being delicious. That's the important part. The space has this inviting brick-and-wood vibe that gives it a little "up north" feel. Comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere, the kind of place you can sit with your thoughts or escape the house for a bit. They've also got juices and boba teas, and honestly, I haven't had a single thing from their menu that missed. If you live in the area and want a spot that feels like your spot -- freshly brewed coffee, good food, good people -- Grind Haus is it.

The rest of the bagel was good, too... nice chewy-to-crunchy ratio... soothing, comforting... everything you want it to be-and I liked the way it was packaged and served, on a little wooden tray. The Tiger and standard milk teas served their purpose, but the fruit smoothies stood out pretty well. The menu is a mix of traditional flavors and the neo-bubble drink trend (more toward the latter). There is a decent amount of sitting room at which soft-cover manga publications are situated. Aside from the manga reads, there is also a free single-player arcade and nice pay-to-play claw machine.
