Went to the Duck Blind today for the first time with some friends the lady's were rude we were standing at the register and they just stared at us. Didn't say hi good morning or anything. Didn't ask my husband what size drink he wanted and gave him a small. I'm disappointed because I was really looking forward to trying it. I will not be coming back. I love it at Duck Blind! I make sure visit and get a coffee or snow cone every time we're in town. It's a nice walk to get there and then we can sit on their nice covered patio and enjoy our drinks before we walk back! The staff is always so nice and acknowledges us fast even when there is a line. Good coffee a short 5 minute walk from our hotel which was a definite plus! Good coffee but I was disappointed they didn't have raw sugar or fresh cream. I'm not crazy about the little half/half processed pods, really prefer the fresh stuff. Next time I might try a latte instead to have fresh milk. Very friendly baristas! read more

Horrible service. Got there at 4:50 and the girl at the stand was saying they were already closed and sent us away. If you close at 5 that means you close at 5 not 4:50. Will not return or recommend. Would not even leave a star if i didn't have to. read more

Sooo went by duck blind for coffee on Sunday. The young women who are working there are not trained to do even the base level food safety re espresso machine. This place is so cool! They have a great selection and everything is open-air so you can enjoy great coffee and fresh muffins with the salt air coming from the bay! My husband and I stumbled upon this cute spot by way of Yelp. It's one of the only coffee shops open on Sunday, and is a small beach side cabana type structure. I opted for an iced Vietnanese coffee, which was delicious. And pretty good sized. It was $5 plus tip, which I personally don't think is too expensive. This is a cute place to get coffee. They have a few pastries, a simple selection of coffee and espresso drinks as well as soft drinks and water. We went here twice on our vacation. The first time we got two large iced vanilla lattes, it was $12. The second time we got a large caramel latte and a small vanilla latte. Somehow it was also $12 so I'm not sure how they do their pricing but we may have been over charged the second time. One thing that bugged me was that the staff member who was making our drinks kept taking her down and putting it back up while making them. Simple food handlers rules would tell you that you DONT do that. After messing with her hair she then went and grabbed straws and put them in our drinks. So the hands she was using to touch her hair were also on the part of my straw that I drink out of....kinda gross. There's definitely worse things but I take cleanliness in the food industry seriously. And touching your curly blonde hair and then going directly back to making a customers order isn't clean. Aside from that, I recommend this place for coffee. If you're looking for starbucks type drinks You get that here. But for the every day, run of the mill coffee lover, this place is good! read more

The shaved ice was $5, for that price I was expecting a decent amount of ice and syrup, instead barely any syrup was put and the cup was only half filled. read more
