Here in Rockport, Texas again and my first stop once I arrived was Bella La Brew. Love this place. Quiet, quaint inviting and awesome coffee. Since I was here last, their merchandising have grown quite a bit and so have their menu of good eats. The ambiance is just right for business professionals, students and retirees to sit, enjoy one of the many drinks offered, great internet access and overall comfort. I am at home at Bella La Brew. BEST coffee frappe I have had in a long time! They also have both nitro cold brew and regular cold brew! My husband was a HUGE FAN! You walk in and the place is cozy and has a nice laid back vibe to it. I loved that they had all local products for sale around the whole coffee shop. Hand made soaps, coffee mugs, bags and so much more! While I was waiting for our coffees it was nice to look around and shop around. I got a large dreamsicle frappe for my kids and the woman at the counter offer to split it into two cups! That was such a sweet offer and they definitely appreciated the extra whipped cream! But seriously my caramel frappe was hands down the best one I've had in a long time! You could really taste the fresh cold brewed coffee in it I would pick this place everyday over Starbucks or any other franchise coffee place. Wish I could pick it up and put it in my town. What a treasure! My little hometown doesn't have much in the way of coffee shops, so I am SO thankful for this spot. I had heard the buzz (yes, that's a coffee joke) about Bella La Brew for a few years, but I finally visited this past weekend as I needed an afternoon caffeine boost before heading out for a round of disc golf. The baristas and owner were both hanging around, and they were so welcoming and warm towards me and my boyfriend. I loved my nitro brew and drank every last drop. Plus, the cafe has a boutique in it where you can find cute, kitschy goods. I'd recommend stopping there if you're looking for a gift for a friend or if you just want a yummy beverage. read more

As I mentioned in my review of The Bar-B-Que Shack, I was a human popsicle after my ride on the Skimmer to see the whooping cranes. Even after eating a delicious fried shrimp dinner, I was still cold. I had the shivers that ran down through my backbone. I told my wife I wanted to go to a coffee house. She fired up Siri and said, "Starbucks near me". I said I wanted a local Mom and Pop type place- not Starbucks. It isn't that I don't like Starbucks, but when I travel, I want new experiences. We found Bell La Brew. I am not kidding when I tell you it is now my absolute favorite coffee house. The staff was super friendly. They had about twenty different flavorings that you could add to your drink. I decided on a pistachio latte. The baristas were concerned and told me nobody had ever ordered that. They told me that I could throw it away and get another latte at no cost, if I did not like it. I told them I thought it would be good. After all, pistachios are just nuts. It wouldn't be to far off from hazelnut or pecan flavors. They told me that a guy who ordered MOJITO flavored latte thought he would like that, but didn't. Hey... mojito flavored coffee doesn't even sound good to me at all. Anyway, I really liked the latte. My wife really liked her hot chocolate. We both really liked the atmosphere. It is a very large room with lots of choices for comfortable seating. They even have shelves with games you can play. When we were there, there were two tables of ladies playing Mahjong! We went back to Bella La Brew the next day. I ordered another pistachio latte. It is now my new favorite coffee drink. I hope I can find that in San Antonio somewhere! Bella La Brew had a display case with lots of goodies to go along with your coffee. Everything looked good, but we had just eaten both times we went in. Next time I'm in Rockport, I'll go in the morning and have a scone or two with my latte. read more

First of all, I want to say, the owner is sooo nice, welcoming and makes me want to go back. I love supporting small, local businesses like this. This place is great!! One side is a coffee shop and one side is a boutique with all sorts of cute stuff. The coffee and pastries are always amazing!! Vanilla latte and toasted white mocha were great today. Anyone who gave this place a negative review is an idiot and probably can't be pleased by anyone. Can't believe I read someone getting upset for paying for a shot they requested. Visiting Rockport for ten days and was looking for a pleasant coffee shop on a cold, rainy day. I was disappointed to find that this place was in a shopping center, and seem to have no character at all. But once I got inside, it was quite nice, the staff was friendly, and the baked goods very good. I tried to place the next day that looked to have much more character because it was in the historic district, But it actually had pretty lousy food and drink. I'll stick to Bella La Brew. read more

Bellissima! This coffee shop is one of the finest in the Rockport area! This place is cool! They've got a big space, with lots of comfortable seating and tables. We were able to easily find a plug and their free wifi worked great! They offer a wide selection of coffees. When we went, their espresso machine was out of commission, but they offered a wide variety of drip, iced, and cold-brewed coffees instead. They also have a very extensive tea selection with flavors I've never heard of, and wild blends that looked delicious. They offer a variety of snacks- sandwiches, snack trays with apples and fruit and cheese. The service was warm and friendly with fast pours on the coffee! The cream and sugar area was well-stocked and clean. They're really doing a great job on their coffees here! Their cold brew comes in nitro as well! Wow! They offer books to read and cool local art to check out. I wish they'd have offered more local publications here. They could use the Rockport Pilot and all those free newspapers and magazines that you get at other local places. There's plenty of seating, and is a great place to meet up with friends or just cool off in their ample air conditioning. The coffee shop is connected to a boutique next door, with the similar name 'Bella Boutique' under the same ownership. It's a nice shop next door to check out! read more
