On a busy holiday weekend, we stopped in on good reviews, and being in our immediate vicinity. There was a nice assortment of croissants, sweet rolls and muffins that were as tasty as they looked. Very friendly service. We learned from their friendly nextdoor neighbor that all of the baked good are made fresh daily by the proprietor. Lovely little bakery with beautiful pastries. We stopped for breakfast and ended up with food for the next two days. The pastries were fresh and delicious. You can also pick up grab and go things such as chicken salad, pasta salad, ready made sandwiches. They serve hot items for lunch. We will have to try that next time. read more

This bakery is run by the same folks who ran Irie's, so you know it's going to be amazing. Oh boy, was it ever! The key lime pie is one of the best I've had anywhere. Chocolate croissants reminded me of the ones I used to get on St Barths years ago. Only, these might be better. I don't remember what kind of sandwich I bought there, I just remember wolfing it down hours later when we were fishing. Whatever it was, it was absolutely delicious. They do things right here. We were on our way back to Houston so stopped here and got the chocolate mousse, sourdough bread and raspberry shortbread cookie - the cookie was okay didn't seem too fresh. Mousse was good and their sourdough seemed fresh and good. There was a short line. I think a fresh paint and a deep clean would be a good idea just to make the bakery more appealing. Cinnamon roll is AWESOME when heated up! Peanut Butter Krinkle is like a PB Rice Krispy treat! However, cupcakes and croissants were a bit dry - except chocolate cupcake. read more

We love coming to the island bakery! I had a blueberry donut for my birthday, but we also tried kolaches, regular donuts, and a raspberry croissant at different points during the week. The coffee place that shares this space is separated, requiring you to stand in line twice. Neither onsite bakery nor the coffee place are anything special compared to offerings in larger cities but provide something more than the routine in Port A. Worth a try to judge for yourself but doubtful that this traveler will return. read more

If you visit this bakery, you will be amazed at how elevated these baked goods are! From the cruffins, to the sourdough pizza bread and everything in between you will fall in love. Be warned, they sellout so go early and don't be afraid to ask for next day pickup. I ordered 4 sourdough pizzas breads for my trip back home. read more

I was a huge fan of Irie's lunch offerings for many years, but have rediscovered the new Irie's Bakery and can say that I'm more than impressed with the new offerings! My very favorite is the "Cruffin," with layers and layers of buttery decandence and cinnamon sugar, but there are so many delicious bakery items it's hard to choose. We also just had them create a birthday cake for my stepdaughter, and I understand that there is a local coffee shop setting up in March to offer even more coffee choices. As a fan of the "old" Irie's, I'm super happy to see that they've brought back some of the lunch favorites...fried rice, chicken chow mein, and even butter chicken! Only available from 11-2, so get there early so I didn't beat you to it. You won't be disappointed! read more

This is a great bakery to visit and buy from. They could have had a better selection, but may be based on the current slow season.
