Best donuts ever I literly go to rockport for the donut and if ask they are just that good good staff and all

We walked in and there were 2 girls working behind the counter, there was one person being helped and one more in front of us. It took 17 minutes for them to "pull it together" and check us out. They move so slowly. Customers knew what they wanted (since we had so much time to decide while waiting) I just don't understand why they are so slow. I had a sour cream donut and it was very good. Fresh, sweet and light. Our cake donuts were pretty gummy. Maybe it's the humidity in Rockport? Idk, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but it was only 10am. My husband had a sausage, egg, cheese croissant and said it was pretty good. My ham and cheese croissant was just ok. This place is so dated and old you can't really tell how clean it Is. I passed several donut places to get here because it had a higher review... not sure why. It's just ok. I'll try the closer ones next time. read more

One of two epic donut places in Rockport. It's got a light and airy dough and the chances of scoring a hot one is high. So... 9.8 out of 10 for flavor and a 9 out of 10 for presentation in that you might get it hot. Krispy Kreme is 10/10 in that regards because of posted hot times, Dunkin Donuts is a 0/10 since I cannot remember a hot one there. read more

went for breakfast this morning around 9am, the reviews we read were old but good so we definitely didn't expect the experience we had. the drive thru worker had a terrible attitude the entire time and they were out of almost everything. it felt like he was trying to rush us out like us being there was an inconvenience. (hours were 5am-2pm, we were there around 9am....) very disappointing with all of the 5 star reviews that we read:/ read more

best donut place in rockport. my family & i have been coming to this place since i was a little kid, & nothing beats their donuts. the old man wakes up at the crack of dawn, i think around 3am, & starts working on the dough for the donuts, so they're fresh & hot in the early morning- i'm not too sure if he's still running the place though. definitely do not come by after 9am if you want the super fresh stuff. but if you're looking for something to eat/snack on, their croissants & pigs in a blanket are pretty good even later in the day. read more

We were desperate for food because who else is open at 6 am on a Sunday? Donut Palace is. Easy park and walk up. Small but solid selection of donuts. We ordered a plain kolache, a cheese and sausage kolache, an apple fritter, and a white frosted donut. So happy the kolaches come in two different sizes. They were incredible! The bread was not greasy on the outside at all so it was a great grab and go breakfast with no mess. Donut was delicious. Great price for the flavor, smaller than usual but dense, almost cake donut like. One of the best donuts I've ever had. Staff was cordial, decor was homey. Perfect for a quick meal. read more

Best glazed donut I've had in a very long time... and it was still warm! Yummm! Highly recommend for the food.

Local resident since 2012. Regularly come here for sausage/egg & cheese croissant. Yummy!! Always just right...the chocolate glazed old fashion donut is to die for...if you can get one...lol...go EARLY or they sell out....yummy too! AND...$5. dozen on Sunday, what a bargain...(especially being Rockport) p.s. the drive thru guy is very nice, but...he needs to talk up and smile! ...don't be so shy. read more

Great donuts for a large crowd. Nice customer service. All the staff loved their special treats.

Very soft, fluffy donuts that almost melt in the mouth. I wouldn't say they taste just like Krispy Kreme as others mentioned, but they are delicious. I wasn't even there first thing in the morning, but they tested fresh. Prices have understandable gone up from previous posts. Times are hard and inflation is real. Obviously they had to raise prices to keep up. You can not get a donut for $.85 or a dozen plain or mixed for $8.50. Still worth it. The Apple fritter was amazing! If my family vacations around here again, we'll be back. read more

Stopped in based on another review that the glazed donuts taste just like Krispy Creme ... I wasn't disappointed! Very close comparison! Apple fritter was great, too. Cherry filled donut was not my fav. Donut part was great but didn't care for the filling. read more

Their donuts taste like Krispy Kreme. They have that "melt in your mouth quality. These are definitely the best donuts in Rockport!!

I have only gone through drive thru--ordered an eclair, sausage kolache & brkfst sausage & cheese croissant. My husband preferred the croissant from another donut place & their kolaches are made w/brkfst sausage as opposed to country sausage. The eclair was good & creamy. The drive-thru attendant was friendly & they do offer dozen donuts on Sundays for $5. read more
