They have to pay a fee for you to use your card, just saying.) I know this because I read this review before I went to this establishment, brought cash with me and read the sign they have posted. The donuts are very good! Their bear claws have a cinnamon apple filling, their donut holes are fresh, their twist are great and their pig in blankets are great! The inside is not so appealing but, the customer service was great. I was greeted right away. The donuts were super fresh (soft). I've lived all over the country and have had my share of bakeries, but the reviews are surprising because it's not the best, in my opinion. For 5 kolaches (small and one specialty), 3 long john donuts, and a plain coffee, it cost me $30. The specialty kolache was boudin and tasteless. Service was OK, nothing amazing, but that's OK because it's counter help (although the machine did ask for a tip when I paid which I didn't like). If you're stopping by for a couple donuts for your kid, or a plain coffee, not bad! Otherwise way too overpriced for the food.

Customers knew what they wanted (since we had so much time to decide while waiting) I just don't understand why they are so slow. I had a sour cream donut and it was very good. Fresh, sweet and light. Our cake donuts were pretty gummy. Maybe it's the humidity in Rockport? Idk, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but it was only 10am. My husband had a sausage, egg, cheese croissant and said it was pretty good. My ham and cheese croissant was just ok. This place is so dated and old you can't really tell how clean it Is.
