This has happened to me on multiple occasions. It's deeply frustrating for people who work insane hours to take the time to drive over (with plenty of time to spare), only to be told in a very brusque manner that they aren't accepting any more cars. It should be noted that other locations don't seem to have this problem- it seems to be a quirk of workplace culture specific to this particular location.

Filed a complaint and manager contacted me. Never offered a solution. My home was " too far away to send someone out" to remedy. Manager stated " it was a new employee that I guess I'll need to retrain" . I placed the car on ramps and found that the oil hadn't been changed. Brought it to another auto shop and they confirmed oil grossly over filled, oil not changed and wrong oil filter used. Can you pronounce FRAUD. A TRUE oil change was performed by the legitimate auto service center.

After about 5 minutes of driving I could tell something wasn't right with the balance of them. When I came in for a follow up appt. to have them check the balance, the lady told me that they would re-balance them but they doubt that would fix any problems and tried to get me to schedule yet another visit so that a mechanic could diagnose what else was wrong with the vehicle for 2-3 hrs. There was nothing wrong with my vehicle... When they re-balanced the tires I asked what they found and they responded that they didn't even check the existing balance. They just blindly stripped all the weights and balanced them again. This time the vehicle drove even worse than the first time. When I brought the vehicle to another shop and explained the issue they threw the existing wheels w/ weights on their balancer and laughed. The guys at Warren tire didn't even get it close. Once the balance was corrected by the second shop the vehicle drove great. The other funny part of my experience was when I dropped the vehicle off for the follow-up visit, they told me that it would be atleast a few hours until they could get to it. This didn't bother me at all except for the fact that 4 of their techs were standing around behind the service desk chatting with each other and not getting any work done for the entire 20 minutes I was there dropping the vehicle off. I was appreciative that Warren Tire was able to get me in for my tire change quicker than any other shop around was, but if I knew it wasn't going to be done right the first time and would require 2 more shop visits I would have just waited a few more weeks.

Maybe the tech is a bitter person who doesn't like his job, maybe hes under pressure to make things happen. whatever the case is, I wont return. this had me driving around for a week with no sticker. its a shame, its so close by. and like I said I have has some good experiences. they stay busy. but they are also costly. I like my mechanic now; independent business owner/operator who I trust. same person every time and nobody to answer to. I take it in and it wont pass, he isnt going to take the sticker off and put me in a bad spot. Bigger garages, its mostly always bad experience. bigger place, and yet still cant get in. so I say if you cant trust them, cant get in, and they cost more, why the hell go there?

My car is an Alfa Romeo and I'm super cautious of trusting unknown shops to work on it. From the first phone call with the manager Jason, through scheduling and ultimately buying and having Gills Point S Tire install new Falken tires on my Alfa Romeo, the experience was flawless and exceptional. They were above and beyond friendly, polite, professional, and easy to work with. My appointment started exactly when it was supposed to, and I was in and out in 30 minutes on a Monday afternoon. I was shocked how fast the service was and haven driven 30 miles home already, it's obvious the tires were installed correctly. I have been going to another local regional chain and I've always been stuck there 2-3 hours and felt like the staff were annoyed to be so busy. I almost hate to leave this review because I don't want Gills Point S to be slammed and a long wait next time I go there lol. Upon arrival the person behind the counter told my husband that they couldn't inspect our vehicle because they didn't have any December inspection stickers. Not only did they not attempt to contact us to cancel our appointment, but the guy was completely unapologetic and stated that we must have scheduled online (which is untrue and should not make a difference as they could clearly see our appointment was for an inspection and did not call to cancel). I will never give this place my business again and encourage others to take this story into account before they do.

Midas was able to get her an appointment the next day and explained what items were required for inspection and comleted the work at a fair price. That's not all! My daughter backed up into one of the guys old trucks on the way out. There was no real damage to the truck but my daugher dented her car. My daugher felt horrible about the running into them. Casey and Shayne had a tool in the truck and were able to take the dent out for her. Talk about going above and beyond not only in service, but in kindness!
