I ordered "baked stuffed scallops", a dish I enjoy at many restaurants. I really didnt expect what was served. I had 5 over cooked scallops buried under a heap of dry, salty, crushed ritze crackers. On top of the pile of crumbs was a dry piece of "melted" mozzerella cheese, cold and stiff. The pile of cracker crumbs, by the way, was room temperature, as were the over cooked scallops. Nothing about that dish was "baked", nor was any part of it "stuffed". No tasty seafood stuffing, piping hot, with tasty, meaty, scallops baked inside the stuffing, all covered in hot, melted, mozzerella cheese. Thank goodness it came with a side potato because the mashed potatoes were very good. As was the tossed salad before the meal. Not worth the $38 I was charged. I declined a box to take my dish home, and the waitress asked me if I was sure I didnt want to box up my mostly uneaten dish. I was speechless. WAS I SURE? NO BOX? Yeah, Im sure. I have a box of ritze crackers at home already, thank you!! Its been a week since that meal and I am still in shock that they can seriously serve that dish and charge almost $40.
