This is a brand new, spacious building with a beautiful interior and large deck for sunny days or warm evenings. Quite a luxurious addition to the centre of Florenceville! Great espresso-style coffee options, a small dessert bar, and original breakfast and lunch fare. They have oat and almond milks for dairy free options! Raw honey available for sweetener, too. Skip the Timmies and come here instead, people! I was here at lunchtime, so I'm not sure about dinner options or the bar atmosphere, but I'm guessing it's casual, yet classy. Very comfortable seating with the entire back wall set up with booth-style benches. Fabulous wait staff! Beautiful private toilets. Ample street parking, too! Free wifi! So happy this place exists!

Prices are also very reasonable considering the quality. The boom boom shrimp are amazing. Big, battered jumbo shrimp in a creamy, lightly spicy sauce. They give you a good amount of them too. The onion rings have a very old school, classic feel to them. Really crispy, firm batter that is satisfying but not excessively greasy. I haven't had the ice cream, but the kids have and they love it. Definitely recommend.

I had the opportunity to explore for a week around Fort Fairfield, Maine, and discovered there aren't a lot of choices for lunch. But, that doesn't matter, 'cause this drive up cafe is legit! I ate two lunches at R&J Market, and was delighted with their food and service. The first day I had trouble deciding if I wanted a burger or a chili dog, and was glad to know they offered a small, child size burger, allowing me to also order the chili dog without looking like a complete food hog. And this problem occurred: The burger wasn't really that small. I swear it was at least a quarter pounder on a buttered and grilled bun, that was delicious and perfectly grilled. The chili dog was a complete surprise! It was one of those super red, super tender dogs that look like a hot link, but isn't. And they served it on a buttered and grilled bun that was AMAZING! The next day I ordered the lobster roll and something called a doughboy. The lobster roll was filled with large chunks of lobster salad with their secret sauce and served on those buttery grilled hotdog buns. I enjoyed it! And that doughboy? Well, it was like an elephant ear drenched in buttery goodness, topped with powdered sugar and cinnamon ... talk about a guilty pleasure! I felt as though I was a boy at the county fair! This diner does not have to be as good as it is, because there is little competition. But that's not who these people are. These are people who believe in equality their food and love seeing the customers return with satisfaction every day. #TodaysDiscovery

I have tried several restaurants from Houlton to Caribou since I moved up to Aroostook County last Summer and there has not been much to write home about. I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo and it came with sauteed Broccoli and Texas Toast and it was really fantastic! I also ordered a side Garden Salad and you would figure, "what could be the big deal with a salad" however, I CAN tell you this salad had everything including 2 kinds of peppers and an array of color throughout and they used iceberg lettuce which I love and the Italian Dressing was outstanding! The whole meal ran me around $20 and I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Small place, tucked away but if you want truly fresh food in a warm surroundings, try this place out! 5 Stars!

On our last morning we arrived for breakfast and it couldn't' have been better. The dining room was small and warm, filled with people on their way to church or meeting to catch up. They have a full breakfast menu of eggs, pancakes and the like. I had two eggs over easy --perfectly done -- with oatmeal bread toast -- their own, of course -- and a side of some of the best corned beef hash I've ever had. Not too salty, it had been flattened and fried on the skillet before serving so it had a crusty browned exterior and creamy beefy interior. Wonderful. The service was also perfect: attentive but not intrusive. We had heard that their donuts were excellent, but they had already run out...the only disappointment, but a reason to return. They're also open for lunch and dinner. Truly a "little taste of home" only better!
