I needed replacement mirror glass for a sliding bypass closet door which my carpet installer cracked. Dublin Glass did not carry the vinyl backed mirror glass but offered me the following unsolicited and unappreciated advice: " That's what you get for going with the low cost installer". Dublin Glass provided excellent service for our shower door. They are known for the great product selection and installation but they also are full service. Many shower door glass installers install, but when you have need for service they don't show up. We installed our shower in 2005 and it needed silicone replacement and plastic angle rod replacement. After calls to several companies only Dublin Glass was willing to do a " Shower Refresh". This is not a high dollar item for them but they provide the service anyway. There was wonderful communication with Laura at the office for scheduling and information on what the service provided. Then when Brandon and Tyler showed up the quality service continued. They both were informative, conscientious, neat, detailed, provided excellent work and were friendly. The work they did was superb. I would recommend them and Dublin Glass highly. read more

Needed to repair a towel rack on a shower glass door. I called several other local glass and shower door companies, and every single one of them refused to even attempt to repair the rack. All kept saying if they didn't do the shower door install, they wouldn't repair the rack. They all wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to install a brand new shower door (was looking at nearly $2k at a lot of these places). Finally I contacted Dublin Glass, and they said they would attempt to fix it, and if it wasn't fixable, then in that case a new shower door may be needed. Ok fair enough, I'm happy that at least an attempt would be made. It turned out that in fact the rack WAS repairable and there was absolutely no need for a new shower door. Just wow - to think I nearly had to spend $2k for a new door that wasn't even necessary. Thank you so much Dublin Glass for your honesty, integrity, and willingness to take on a smaller job and not try to get the most money out of someone possible! Super effective when you have kids with markers and sharp objects. Looks 10x better than a table cover. Ordering was simple and I saved a good chunk of change by picking up the glass myself. Dublin Glass is the place to go! I received bids for replacement windows from $1200 / window, and more if only fixing one window, more than $10,000 for 8 windows. I started questioning what I was really trying to do. I found out from Ponderosa homes that the windows in our Bent Creek homes are Rylock Windows and they are no longer in business. I realized that I could physically remove the slider window myself. I contacted Dublin Glass and took pictures of the issue. The receptionist had me speak with Pam (office manager?) and she told me that many companies don't fix windows, but if I was willing to bring it in, she would get it fixed! They quoted me a very reasonable rate, so I brought it in the next morning at 8am. They called me back at 1:30pm and the window was fixed. And their price was 1/5th what they quoted me! I sent pictures, three times to three different email addresses and then got a phone call asking for the pictures again. This was after I asked why I had not received a response. Very impressed with Dublin Glass Co. We've used them a few years ago for a master shower door ( frameless shower door) and were extremely happy with customer service and the outcome. So I recently contacted them again to come and install 5 more frameless shower doors for our new home and they look amazing. Be sure to pay extra for the special coating over the glass so the water stains don't ruin your beautiful glass doors. :) The only problem I had was the smoking installer who left some cigarette buds in the driveway :/ yuk! So frustrated! Horrible customer service and quality control. I ordered a piece of glass for a desk. They told me it would be a few days at it needed to be done off site. Later that day they called and said it was ready. I told them I'd pick it up the next day. They called again and said it's ready. I said, "yes, I know. We spoke and I told you I'd come in tomorrow." The receptionist seemed annoyed. I picked up the glass which they placed into the car only to find two of the sides weren't polished and were rough to the touch. No response to my email that I sent requesting it be corrected. No call back after I left a message. Now I called again and she apologized for not getting back to me but it would be two more trips for me to drop off and pick up again. Horrible customer service and the receptionist is losing business for them. I won't be ordering from them again. read more

Kudos on multiple fronts. 1) They were able to send the owner over same time and come and take measurements 2) I worked very well with the Salesperson on finalizing the cost- we had a couple of iterations and everything was explained clearly for each of the additions - we got the Starphire and Diamon Glass for the costs. Also worked with us on getting the right color to go with the rest of the bathroon fixtures 3) We had a small leak coming out of one of the anchors. They came out twice to fix it and never complained about making everything 100% correct. I really appreciate the fact that they committed to the job for which we paid them. read more

I am very disappointed with the customer service and quality of product I received upon delivery. I had ordered a piece of glass for my table top and paid the $75 delivery charge thinking it would come in better condition then if I picked it up myself. The glass was dirty all over with built on dirt marks and those that delivered the product didn't wear gloves so their fingerprints were all over the glass. The glass came in no packaging-- and was NOT cleaned upon delivery. I called Dublin glass to share my experience and the front desk person was not even apologetic and offered no solutions. I asked to speak to the owner but she said the owner is always in and out. I left my number for the owner Pam and asked her to have her call me. It's been 7 days and I still have not received a call. I even emailed the sales team and Pam (the owner) directly with no response. It's unfortunate that they don't value their customers. This is the worst service AND delivery from a local business that I have ever experienced! read more

Looking at the reviews it seems like the issue I had is similar to others. A job that should have taken a week or so to organize took over a month, daily calls, emails and multiple visits to organize. Sometimes it felt like "Chase Dublin Glass" had been top of my "todo" list forever. I understand that what may seem like a simple job to us, is probably more complex, and that products have to be paid for ahead of time, ordered and you have to wait on supplies - but really.... this truly felt like banging my head against a brick wall at times. I cant count how many times I got an email from them asking "How would you like to proceed?" - I'd like to proceed by getting the job finished so I can live the rest of my life. It would really help if they started out with some kind of information about how the process will happen. There seems to be a complex system of photos, estimates, payments, updates on estimates, additional payments, scheduling visits, further updates, cancelling visits, further visits, further payments, ordering stock, scheduling, cancelling, rescheduling... - none of which they contact you about, but you find out about each step once you get through to the office to ask to move forward. I'm sure their office would not be so busy if they didnt make us call or email every day. When we did get the third technician visit, he told us his life story, which was super interesting, but probably not worth the two of us taking an hour off work to enjoy. Thank goodness we are working from home because it would be impossible to hold down a job outside the home and take off enough time to deal with this company. Dublin glass have cornered the market in high level work - but I think customers should be pre-warned that they dont work to your deadlines and you need to be prepared to put in many hours of your own time to make the job happen. read more

When I ordered some custom cabinets at Lowe's, they recommended ordering the glass at a glass place to save a lot of money. I wasn't sure I wanted to sign up for the extra hassle, but I did it anyway. Turns out, once I found Dublin Glass, it was no hassle at all. I did save a bunch of money, and it wasn't much more effort than dealing with Lowe's. Last month, one of our sliding glass shower doors broke into a million pieces and I wasn't sure we could have it replaced. I started contacting glass companies, one of which was Dublin Glass. I had sent them an email request via their website with the specs of the sheet of tempered glass I needed. I was contacted via email within an hour with some follow up questions and received a reasonable quote within an hour. I called their office and the young lady who answered was very polite, friendly and knowledgable. I ordered the glass and was told it would be ready in about five days. It was finished on the third business day and they called me immediately so I could pick the glass up and get our shower working again.
