They do a great job of being selective about what they carry and pricing it appropriately. They have tons of my favorites including Hanna Anderson, Gap, Crew Cuts, Patagonia, and more. They have lots of great kids shoes as well--things that would normally be pricier, like Keen, Sperry, etc. I have not consigned with them although I probably should. One thing I really love is that they promote their items on Instagram (handle 529hollinhall) and you can even reserve and pay for items there. I did end up getting a response two weeks later saying that they were restocked. I understand they are coming from other countries, however it would have been nice to know they were backordered either during or immediately after the purchase. This Old Navy location is within the Mount Vernon off of US-1. It is tucked away in the far right…read morehand corner, adjacent to Michaels. It is handicapped accessible with mechanical push buttons inside and out. Upon entering the store, the women's section is to the right, men's to the left and children's towards the back. I don't normally visit Old Navy, but the last time we visited there were sales throughout the store. It's nice that there were still items on sale (it just so happened the time we visited, the athletic apparel was 50% off). We needed to get new clothing for our little kiddos and I really like that their shirts are decently priced. Their pajama sets were selling at $10. If you also explore their clearance sections, you may find a great piece at a great price. My hubby got a pair of shorts for $5! By the checkout counter, there were many miscellaneous items for sale, such as: beauty products, hair accessories, a few doggie apparel, and health and safety products like hand sanitizer. Walking around, there are a good handful of retail associates available to assist with whatever you may need (e.g. reaching something high up and unattainable for a short person...like me). We have found some to be friendly and some to be a little mediocre, but it didn't bother us much. A thing to note, though, some of their sales are only good if you open up (or use) their Old Navy credit card. Don't feel pressured into opening an account if you don't really want to. Overall, we believe our recent shopping experience was good since we have found some pretty nice clothes for the whole family.

Everything is pretty clearly labeled and I found the pricing to be fair. As always I find it interesting which brands they price higher, while some designer or vintage labels are fairly inexpensive. They could use more mirrors around the store. I found it to be clean and well organized. If out for a thrifting trip you could also hit up the Goodwill on Telegraph which is hit or miss in my opinion. Worth a trip!

The selection is great. My only real interaction with an employee was at the register. She was friendly, and checked us out quickly. I like this location but I like the DC location better. There are more sales associates on the floor at the DC location that's my reasoning behind that. I'll come here if I am in the area.

Organized aisles upon aisles of fashionable shoes felt like I entered Candy Land. I was pleased with the varied styles and selection of designer brands. There is also a substantial selection of dress and casual shoes for men. This section was not an afterthought! The store was obviously clean since it opened 2 days ago. In addition, DSW staff and other customers were diverse, super nice, and complimentary. I bought a cute pair of nude colored sandals and used my $15 coupon.
