Perfect rank striping!
Colonel Sam F.

Sam is the best! I was in Denver for my mother's burial service and promised her I would wear my uniform. I had to purchase new set of Service Dress Blues which needed to be striped, and matching trousers that required hemming. Sam had never done this kind of job before - it's relatively complicated - and I needed a quick turnaround. The job was finished in 5 days with perfect results. I would give Sam a 6 rating if it was possible - absolutely extraordinary service!

Alla is amazing and so talented. We initially met over a pair of jeans she hemmed and it led to…read moresome work for my son's wedding. All done with great skill, professionalism, and great joy. She has now moved on to "Dining Room Fashions" and more. She recently made 10 custom dining room chair pads, place mats, and as a bonus, a table runner. I just picked them up last night and they are everything I had hoped and more. They are beautiful, and top quality, down to the last detail: piping, ties, and zippers for the chair pads. She used an old place mat I had, and re-created the design perfectly-10 beautiful, reversible place mats, and as a "gift" even made a coordinating table runner. She told me that with the "bumble bee and sunflower" print for the place mats, she felt her heart singing with joy as she made the place mats. That is joy in what one does, and it shows in everything she does. Thank you Alla, for your joyful heart to do what you do with such love and graciousness! Belinda K.

My favorite part is how she gets you working on projects right away. It's nice walk away with a finished item and feel that sense of accomplishment. She insists there's no such thing as a "bad stitch." She just wants you to love what you've created and enjoy the process. I would 100% recommend her to anyone. She makes learning so much fun!

Needle & Thread is hands down the best alterations place I've ever been to. Every time I bring…read moresomething in, it comes back looking even better than I hoped. From simple hems to tricky fixes, everything is done with so much care and attention to detail. The first time I came in, I was a walk-in and the owner happened to be in the middle of working on a bride's dress. I was blown away by the effort she was putting into the fitting and how thorough she was in explaining all the possible alteration options. She carefully pinned and adjusted the dress to show how each option would look, so the bride could make the most informed decision. It was so clear how much she cares about getting it just right. The owner is not only incredibly talented, but also one of the kindest people I know. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every piece she works on. If you want your clothes to fit perfectly and be treated with care, this is the place to go. Can't recommend it enough!

The quality of the hem was good, and it was completed on time, but I had to reach out to the business to see if it was ready for pickup as they did not notify me. For the price it would have been nice for the dress to be steamed and wrinkle free but that was not the case. I also asked for the dress to be done in 3 weeks and her reaction made it seem like it'd be a rush job. Overall, the job was completed and on time, but the service was pricey and felt like the bare minimum.
