When I showed up to collect it, not only was the job incomplete, there was an AWFUL smell coming from my lengha AND I FOUND STAINS ON MY BRAND NEW OUTFIT!! THEY asked me to come back the next day and that they would fix it. I returned on Sunday--and the work was still incomplete!!! I tried on my outfit and it was still not fitted and had a lot of issues. After pointing out all the issues AGAIN, I was then asked to give them 30 minutes more, when I went back (now for a 3rd time) - IT WAS STILL NOT DONE, I was very upset and just ended up taking my outfit as is because this is just beyond ridiculous at this point. During my 3 visits in 2 days, every time I tried to address these issues, the tailor became openly hostile, raising their voice at me and my friends. Their behavior was unacceptable. I had to demand that they lower their voice when speaking to me. I had to bargain to reduce the price since the work WAS NOT COMPLETED and the wife and husband CONTINUED TO BE AGGRESSIVE AND HOSTILE. After sticking a pin in the front (which took a minute) I requested that the woman pin it up so I could assess the length while sitting down. she screeched for her husband who barked at me in broken English that they don't do that. He also told me I was TOO OLD to wear it that short. I look great in mini dresses and will wear whatever I want. I've had dozens of dresses like this shortened. But to get them to lower their voices I said I would simply bring it home and measure it against another dress for length and come back. At NO TIME did I ever say I would go elsewhere. These people barely speak English, and whoever is writing responses is lying for them. At any rate, to get them to stop acting like animals I simply shrugged and asked them to take in a camisole that is quite baggy. For reasons I'll never understand when I came out the rude unprofessional owner began screaming at me to get out of the store. I know what happened. They know what happened. They were horrible. To make it worse they are lying about what happened. if they would admit to how they acted and apologize I would take these reviews down. Bit because they are liars on top of everything else, I intend to find every way I can report their behavior, including reaching out to others who've had these kinds of experiences and encouraging them to come forward. The shop is totally disorganized with clothes all over the place, including the floor. You dont get a slip when you drop off youre items so he cant remember what item(s) are yours. The last ( and i mean LAST) time i brought a pair of pants to be hemmed he found them on the floor(unhemmed) and stained and had to dry clean them and the stain was still faintly there. I didnt pay for the hemming. He's gotten worse and the quality has gone downhill. Let me save you the aggravation.
