Was looking for a decent tailor near Randolph AFB and stumbled upon this little gem store. Called and check if they repaired zippers and tailors clothing and they did! The staff was very friendly and explained everything extremely well. They definitely "managed expectations" as we often quote in the AF and informed me how long the zipper repair would be; there is typically a 1 week wait-time because they're quite busy with all the work requests that they but since I was not in a hurry and have a spare to wear so I did not mind. After picking up my pants the following week, I have discovered that the wait was worth it. They repaired one of my favorite scrub pant's zippers seamlessly. The price they charge for services are extremely fair and reasonable. Though they weren't able to tailor the size of my winter jackets because the pockets were too close to the seam-line, they offered a DIY solution for free. What more can you ask for? Because of the helpful and friendly staff, quality work, and quick services, will definitely be returning for more of our tailoring needs. Keep up the great work DT Tailor! read more

DT tailor has become my go to for those quick little fixes - add a hook n eye, stitch up a low cut v neck, add a snap closure etc. The staff is friendly and swift. There's a $10 min for credit card, most of the things I've listed have costs me $8 or less. I bought a dress for my daughters wedding and it was a little too loose and a little too long. I had driven by before on my way to work, and had no other ideas of where to go. What luck that was! I went in with my dress, and they took me back immediately. They were so kind and made sure I was very comfortable. They listened to all my requests and pinned me up accordingly. They called me in less than 48 hours and told me my dress was done. I was actually a little unsure all the changes could have been completed so fast, but when I went back, it was like the dress was made for me. Ventured out of my house to purchase face masks during the Pandemic. Since it was a Sunday, I called thinking that I would leave a message to place an order for some face masks for pick up on Monday. To my surprise they picked up! Fabulous customer service - the young woman who helped me was super sweet and helpful. I placed an order for 6 masks and showed up 3 hours later and they had them completed! They had a few extras for sale / so I added them to my order so I could give a few out to loved ones. I had them tailor two uniform shirts, but a mistake was made and the shirts were way too tight. It took a few tries to get them fixed, but they worked very hard to make things right with me. They even offered to pay for the price of the shirts, but I declined because they really did all they could to fix the issues. Ultimately they fixed the shirts and did my pants without issues. I will use them again because I'm confident I can trust them to get it right, no matter what it takes. read more

Exceptional customer service! I walked in today ( Saturday) with a pair of Jeans that needed the zipper reinforced. A very kind lady greeted me and told me she would fix them on the spot. Less than five minutes later my jeans were as good as new and she refused to take my money. She said the job was " very small". These ladies are incredible. I had to get a bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding altered. It was small so she had to pretty much alter the whole dress. I was a little nervous because if something happened I wouldn't have time to get a new dress, but when I got the dress back in about a week and half later it was perfect. They are the sweetest women. I needed to find a new tailor as my previous one is across town. Driving down Pat Booker I spotted their sign and decided to give them a chance. I have not been impressed with others tailors off Pat Booker. The shop looked clean and professional. Signage on the door spoke to new COVID-19 precautions which made me feel go about going in. The young lady at the desk was wearing a face mask and she looked at the two dresses I brought in that had linings coming loose. She told me they could be fixed on the spot. She took them back to the lady doing the alterations and minutes later they were done. (This Lady was also wearing a face mask). AND free of charge! I was dumbfounded! They explained that normally minor fixes like this are done for free when other work is brought in. I promised to return in a couple days with items that needed true alterations. When I returned the two ladies wear both again wearing face masks when I entered and they quickly fitted 5 items to me with the alternations needed. They quotes me prices for everything up front so I knew what it would cost. Prices are VERY reasonable. They told me they would have everything ready within five days. Very professional shop.
