The store has a great mix of affordable and upscale pieces. They carry some unique brand such as Emerson Fry and LJC Designs. This shop is a must if you are in the area! And what they did have was largely overpriced. Other locations, at least in the not-so-distant past, had larger selections. Seems like they're focusing more on clothing and shoes, and their shoe prices aren't even good deals anymore. I can buy clothes at many stores; I go to Academy for sporting goods. Maybe they should become Academy Attire + Outdoor. Seemed to be short-staffed in the hunting/fishing/boating area too, just one employee most of the time. And Marci wasn't overly friendly back there. Took a long time to get service and then she moved on to another customer during the middle of my purchase. I've always much preferred Academy over Dick's, but that divide is getting closer.

Went into store today. When I first arrived there were 2 sales associates standing behind counter…read more..never spoke to me at first... I had a question so the one lady acknowledged my existence. I had 4 items to try on and most stores will come and offer to start you a dressing room ... never happened. I finally said "I'm going to lay my clothes on this couch unless one of you want to start me a dressing room." Again the one lady said I can get you one started the other lady just looked at me with a smirk. A third associate came out in the floor and she did say hello. At one point all 3 were on their cell phones. When I was leaving not one said have a great day or come back. This is not the first time this has occurred at this store. At this point I can't see myself shopping at this store again.
