Finally found a register with two employees, one of whom told me I needed to go "Over there" to return an online order. I asked repeatedly where "over there" was but never got an explanation. So after wandering around I located a sign for order pickup. The woman there was extremely helpful. But get this- she said I could have done the return at any register! Obviously not. Last time I was in there (2-3 weeks ago), they still had a great selection of Bob's Red Mill organic products, which they seem to be carrying pretty regularly these days. The prices are great and the Johnson City store has recently had an overhaul, complete with cleaning and reorganizing, so it is quite nice in there now. The furniture selection is good, but if you see something you like, you better get it now, because it might not be there tomorrow. I do love shopping at Big Lots, but sometimes it's just a bit frustrating.

It's either poorly stocked or being used as a loading dock for other departments. The only time I've seen it cleaned up was when cooperate people were walking around inspecting... go figure Otherwise it's always trashed. One time I was trapped in between some pallets and a bunch of carts and employee had put whenever I went in to get some men's running shorts. Called and they immediately looked up the cameras to find where my items went. It seemed that I did indeed leave with all my items, but I was surprised because I did not see them in the bag with the receipt. The manager Anika looked at all their cameras to help find my items. She even went to look at the outside cameras and lobby to see if I dropped them. I started wondering maybe I should look one more time in the car ...and surprise they were in the car door! You can open your Amazon app and scan the barcode to see what the item is to see if you wanna purchase it. Each day is a different price. They're closed on Thursdays to restock and then Friday is eight dollar day. They also recently just came out with The $10 mystery bags and I bought a $65 mystery box. It's definitely well worth more than $65. So if you're a reseller than this is definitely a place to check out. But they let you open auto parts boxes. A friend of mine came here and purchased something that was a auto part and a lot of the pieces inside were actually missing and I guess there's no refunds at the store. So if you want them to check it they will open the box to check it to see if everything is in there. But they definitely have a lot of random good stuff. I bought some clothes for me, some items to resell etc.

Very spacious building with a crazy variety of items. Their own furnishing section I think it's really nice, though I've observed that many of their items have slight damage and for the price isn't worth it. They do sometimes have new or nearly new stuff for extremely good prices, but they go very fast! Clothing department I feel is much better for girls/women than it is for men. Electronics are good... not nearly as good as when they first opened though. Staff are cool, friendly, and some have even recognized me enough to ask me how I've been and other small talk. They work off a date system where there is a date on each items' price tag. Depending on the date, it'll quality for certain discounts. The longer an item stays on the shelf with no buyers, the steeper the discount. But being that they get a pretty good flow of shoppers, don't expect a jackpot find unless somehow the item was well hidden, or it is something nobody wants haha. Anyway, I think the concept is super cool and I encourage you to check it out if you haven't already done so because it's kind of like a treasure hunt, you never know what you'll find. One thing to note is that many of the items for sale are returned items, so inspect a bit before you buy as it may be missing parts, have Scratch and dents, or just plain dirty.
