I felt so awful asking him repeatedly to go hunting for a specific pair of shoes that I wanted but he did it without even an inkling of frustration. While we waited, we chatted about how much he enjoyed working at Merrell's Outlet Store and how they treated their employees well. She hadn't sent the receipt but I headed out to the Merrell outlet in Arundel Mills to see if I could exchange the shoes for a size up. I didn't have a bag either but had the shoes in a Merrell box, and I was feeling pretty awkward about it as I entered the store. There was only one sales associate and I wanted to let her know right away I'd walked in with the box, I'd not picked it up since I'd been in the store, but she was occupied with another customer. So I stood anxiously near the register, hoping I wasn't tagged as a shoplifter. Luckily, I was not! As soon as the sales associate freed up, she immediately came over to me and asked me if I needed to make an exchange. I said I did, showed her the shoes in the box, and she made a face, telling me they were on clearance (I knew this, my mom got a good deal which is why she bought me three pairs of shoes) and may not be in stock. Fortunately they were! We walked over to where those particular shoes were on display and she immediately plucked an 8 out. She handed them to me and I tried them on, pleased with the fit! Zip, bam, boom, she did the exchange, put the 8s in a bag, and I was soon on my way home! So, I love all the shoes my mom bought, though I didn't explore the Arundel Mills Merrell store. What I can say is I was totally happy with the customer service I received in there today. When I'm due for new shoes, I'll definitely go back!

At my last visit in August, I waited a while before an associate assisted me with a scan to do an assessment of which type of shoes I should purchase, stability or neutral. I requested that the scan be emailed to me, but it never was. Over the last week or two, I tried calling to request it. I tried calling closer to closing thinking it would be lighter for them to assist me. The line went unanswered after many rings. This week, I decided to call at 10 a.m. this past Monday when they open. Cerise answered and put me on hold for 12 minutes. I hung up and called again. She said it was busy and got my info and said she would return my call in 15 minutes. 15 minutes came and went. It's now Friday and still no call. I even left a voicemail later this week. The automated system said calls are returned in 24 hours. Apparently that is false. I decided to go into the store at opening and finally got what I needed. Shawn, the manager, was friendly and helpful. Two recommendations I have is that they need to hire more staff and do a better job of answering the phone and returning calls. I gave them three stars because the service when I am in the store is exceptional.

My compadre's browsed, but when Giovann noticed I wasn't delving into the clothing racks (i'm not much of a shopper), she came over to me and questioned me on what my 'style' was. Which left me speechless, b/c again, I'm not a shopper and am not the kind of girl who has any idea what "style" I prefer. So, she broke it down for me. "Tell me how you like to 'feel', not how you like to look". Thus began all of our journey into diva-hood. For the next 2 hours, we tried on clothes all while Diva Giovanna showed us tips on how to bring out our best features, how to pose in a way that creates the best pictures, and what looks would work best on our bodies...she even took pictures of us in her clothes to show us how amazing we looked. It wasn't shopping. It was an experience in celebrating womanliness! There is something for everyone in this shop (even a little dog and a piano), casual, fancy, REALLY FANCY... She will make you try on things you didn't even know you would look good in and she will style you.
