We recently finished an entire-home renovation project with DSP Diversified. We are in love with our new home and would recommend them for the following reasons: Communication: Daniel provided excellent communication throughout the project. He kept us informed of progress, addressed any questions promptly, and made decision-making clear and collaborative. Clear and Fair Budget: Daniel established a clear and fair budget upfront. He communicated any necessary changes transparently and kept us within the agreed-upon costs. Respectful Crew: The entire team was professional, courteous, and respectful of our property and our neighbors. They were mindful of noise levels and kept us informed of their work schedule. Most importantly they acknowledged the importance of providing the look and feel that was right for our family.

    Backsplash and counter installation

Daniel is a contractor who is truly passionate about his work. I have used Daniel for two projects: to install countertops and to install backsplash. When Daniel came the first time and saw that I was remodeling my kitchen he provided some very valuable feedback. I had other contractors come by to provide an estimate and they went about their work and simply handed me a price. There's nothing wrong with that but Daniel was much more helpful than that. Daniel pointed out many glaring issues with my kitchen that needed to be addressed. They weren't issues that necessarily prevented the countertop installation but issues that if left unresolved that I would regret later. He spent more time reviewing my kitchen layout with me and helping me understand the finer points that I would have missed. After taking measurements Daniel kept in touch afterwards about the kitchen layout. He was genuinely concerned about the appearance, layout and has a great eye for detail. He drafted a better and more balanced layout for my kitchen which I used. Daniel makes himself extremely available. He stopped by a few times to go over the kitchen layout again even though he was contracted to install the countertop. He is easy to reach by phone and text. He is extremely proud of his work and feels personally responsible for doing the best job possible. The backsplash installation was a breeze. His staff works extremely methodically and goes through a great deal of preparation to make sure nothing else in the area gets dirty or damaged. They use rosin paper to cover the floors/areas. They make sure their tools are always placed on top of rosin paper or cardboard to make sure nothing gets scratched. They take their time to come up with a plan and made sure I am in agreement before proceeding with it. Daniel himself went to pick up the tile from floor and decor for me. He really goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is fully satisfied. I actually ended up installing more backsplash than we agreed on but Daniel gave me a discount on the extra instead of charging me proportionately. Overall he is highly experienced, skilled and the type of person who will go to any lengths to make sure the customer is satisfied. Highly recommended.

As a first time home owner, I am so grateful to have found Daniel. He helped with completely remodeling our kitchen and floors (see the attached before & after photos). Great communication and for a reasonable price. Everything turned out beautiful. Highly recommend!

Daniel sent me his rendering of the kitchen design in a timely manner, which both my husband and I loved.

What stood out about Shugarman's Bath are the several good reviews across platforms that repeatedly mention quality work, good communication, and of course, customer satisfaction. Communication: everything was clear and well presented right from the initial phone call, up until the turn over . My design consultant went over every detail, every option, and every possible scenario. He made sure all needs were met and there was not pressure or attempts to upsell. After signing on, demo and install were scheduled and the projects managers made sure to communicate details along the way. On demo day, every single step was communicated even with appropriate warnings/advisories about noise and vibration. On installation day, they made sure I was involved in placement of accessories particularly height, distances, etc. Reliability: I feel like Shugarman's Bath is a very well-oiled machine. They do what they promise and sometimes even over-deliver! Work Quality: everything was presented well from beginning to end. First thing they did was lay down protective cloth to prevent dirtying my floors. They complied with HOA requests for inspection before and after copper installation. They had everything they needed in their vehicle and not once did they slow down. Of course, the finished product is beautiful, efficient, and accessible. Customer Satisfaction: not once did I feel left out or disregarded/contradicted just to make their job easier. Everyone went through every detail to make sure that I got what I wanted and not some work around or semblance of what was asked of them. They definitely deliver what was promised! Pricing: they were not the lowest bidders. But the promise and guarantee they provided was top notch. Their pricing includes any remediation needed after the walls are taken down so that, in itself, guarantees a stress-free experience. If they discover something that needs correcting, they will do it themselves. They won't leave you high and dry looking for a third party to do remediation work. For me, this was the best part of the whole no-surprise pricing they provided. Material Quality: they use top notch materials and accessories from trusted brands! Not some cheap, flimsy or hollow enclosure. The build is solid and guaranteed to last! Overall, 100% recommend them! They are fast, efficient, and professional all the way! Shout out to: Nick - first point to contact Adam - Design Consultant Karina, Lindsey, Stephanie - Project Managers/Consultants Michael, Chreen, Steven - Installers Thanks to all of you for making sure I got what I wanted and needed and that I'd enjoy it for years to come!

The sales rep from Shugarman was very good, showing me samples of the actual materials, and I signed up. There was a significant wait, about 5-6 weeks, but the project started only a day later than promised. I did not get competitive bids, but instead relied on Yelp reviews and my own life experiences. So, I cannot comment about the cost. Suffice it to say, bathrooms are expensive. Daniel I. was the installer. The demolition was rather raucous and dusty, but aren't all demolitions? Daniel removed the tile and backing to reveal the studs. The existing plumbing was marginal, to be generous describing it, and he removed it and replaced it with nice copper pipes. Daniel has proved to be a very talented plumber, and his attention to detail was very comforting. After several inspection trips under the house, he pronounced the new system as leakproof. I was intrigued by the lasers he used to line up the new pipes. The wall coverings went up swiftly and the upgraded sandstone floor tray exceeded my expectations. It was the only upgrade I ordered, figuring I could replace the base shower head and wand later, if I so desired. Probably will. Daniel very expertly installed the vinyl walls, bending them at 90 degree angles to match the existing structures. The tile was about eye level high, but the new walls went up to the ceiling, a visual improvement and a very practical solution. I ordered plain almond colored walls because the bathroom floor tile is a fussy design, and I did not want to make the overall look even fussier. It worked ! But sometimes the devil is in the details. The walls and shelves are almond and the floor pan is sandstone. I am mystified why Daniel caulked everything with white. The almond corners and shelves are now outlined with white caulking. Well, what's done is done. I would have specified almond-colored caulking, given the opportunity. The project was completed in the two days promised. Well, 99% completed. There remained a very obvious gap from the wall covering to the existing tile which needed more attention. This time I requested that Daniel use almond-color caulking to fill in the gap. The corner radii of the wall covering and the tile are different, requiring the extra attention. Daniel came back about a week later to work on this, but still it was not quite acceptable. Another week passed, and Ricky came by to provide some additional layering. Now, it's about as good as can be. I've been showing off the project to neighbors and family, and all have agreed it's beautiful. Several have mentioned the white caulking outlining everything, but in general, it's a hit.

Unfortunately, things began to fall apart shortly before finalizing my cabinet order. My final renderings were never properly completed. One entire room was missing from the plans, and major updates that were requested - including switching from frameless to framed cabinets (which affects cabinet sizing) - were never reflected in the drawings. It became very difficult to get in touch with anyone to finalize the order or receive updated plans. Eventually I went into the store in person, where Liad offered to "fix and finalize" everything on the spot. He manually drew out the new layout and entered the order on his phone, assuring us he was taking care of everything. However, no formal layout, purchase order, item list, cabinet sizes, or updated renderings were ever provided. I was told we could rely on the existing renderings and that getting formal updates from the designers would take too long. After paying, we heard nothing until my contractor informed me that cabinet boxes were being delivered. The delivery arrived without any paperwork, purchase order, or layout for my contractor and cabinet installer to reference. Once installation began, we discovered multiple issues: missing items, incorrect cabinet sizes, missing panels, and accessories that were the wrong size. Trying to resolve these problems was extremely frustrating. It was again difficult to reach Liad until we went back into the store. He repeatedly asked us to provide a list of what needed to be fixed, but that was difficult because we were never given a purchase order or layout showing what was actually ordered. What stood out most was the change in demeanor. Conversations that were initially helpful became defensive and dismissive. At one point he even questioned whether our installers "knew what they were doing," and suggested modifying cabinets to make incorrectly sized accessories fit instead of addressing the ordering mistakes. At this point I have had to purchase replacement panels, shelves, and accessories out of pocket from another cabinet store just to keep the project moving. Both my contractor and cabinet installer -- as well as staff at the other cabinet supplier -- were shocked by the experience and confirmed that this is not how a cabinet ordering process should work. My advice if you choose to work with this company is to triple-check everything and get all documentation in writing before paying. Make sure you receive final drawings, a purchase order, item numbers, and cabinet dimensions. It's unfortunate to have such a stressful experience during what should be an exciting part of a home remodel. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. There are many other cabinet suppliers that provide clearer communication and proper documentation.
