This scum has complete disregard for property, the law and life itself. They have a habit of trespassing and chopping down trees they have no business touching. They choped down a tree on my property with squirrels nests, bird's nest and other wildlife. They had no business being on my property whatsoever! I will be suing this company and my neighbor. If you don't want to get sued by your neighbors, don't touch this company. They are unprofessional, loudmouthed, and they don't care what problems they leave you with. This company was hired by a neighbor to take down trees that were on the property line on his side. The village said they had a permit for one tree they took down at least 7. They were all over my property without permission. And they cut down a 100 year old pine that belonged to me. All of this was down without my permission. They trampled all my plants broke my fence left debris all over my property. . I had to call the cops and village to file reports. This company is horrible. They now use the name DS Tree Service. They cut down trees in a neighbor's yard and instead of lowering the logs by rope, he let them fall and crash in my yard. When I questioned him about the possible damage to my yard he told me to kiss his ass. He then packed up to leave and I had to order them to clean my yard! Our neighbor hired them to trim the branches of our tree that was hanging on his property. The men came into my backyard without knocking on my door or asking. They then proceeded to cut every major branch off of our tree without our consent. The tree is on our property and they never consulted with us. Our tree now looks like a truffula tree from a Dr. Seuss book and our yard is now baking in the sun with absolutely no shade. AKA - DS Tree Services Corp: This company was my last estimate from about 4 or 5 tree removal companies over about a months time. All of the companies were very professional and gave fair and reasonable estimates. I needed 2 trees to be removed for the placement of new siding, soffits, gutters, etc. to be done mid August. What made me go with Lid/DS Tree Services Corp was their extra care and concern regarding other trees and overgrown bushes, etc. that were aesthetically unappealing. I had an extremely large double stumped tree in front of my house that needed to be removed for safety concerns as well. I also had 4 other trees removed from the back yard (3 smaller and 1 medium.) The price included stump grinding for the front yard tree. During the large front tree removal process, I was asked if I'd like the all of the overgrown trees, bushes, etc. removed from the front of the house as well to give the house a clean look and view. I was given a great price that was just added to the original price estimate. The 9 gentlemen from the company were extremely professional. Though they worked quickly, multiple safety practices/steps were used throughout the entire process. (It was quite an amazing experience watching them seemingly effortlessly remove the largest tree with expert precision.) I am recommending this company to anyone that needs trees/bushes/etc. removed or trimmed. I actually recommended them to my brother and sister-in-law and they plan on using them in the near future. I want to start off by saying that we were not the customer but the neighbor to the customers they were servicing. A couple weeks ago, our neighbor knocked on our door and asked if this tree service company could step on our yard to chop some trees down and we had no problem being good neighbors and giving them the okay. That act of kindness became a nightmare when the workers began chopping the trees and allowing it to fall 20 feet or more to the foundation of our land. You could hear the loud thumps from the other side of the house. Now most companies I see chop trees down normally carry the large bits down with a net but this company was either LAZY or IMCOMPETENT. When my mom came out to ask them not to do that (One again we are not the customer, we are doing them a favor so they get better access to the tree) the boss told her to kiss his @$$. He's lucky that didn't happen in my presence but all I can say is that this company is extremely unprofessional, and they clearly don't respect women. I am livid and what makes matters worse, they were going to leave mounds of tree chippings and branches in our yard. We had to get their attention to come back and clean up our yard! With that said, when we needed to cut down another tree along with a ton of pruning we immediately called Wilmer at DS. He returned my call right away and set up for a property estimate. He came right on time and was professional, friendly and took his time listening to what I wanted and needed. An absolute pleasure. He gave me an extremely fair estimate on the spot and we set up the work. He scheduled for all of the work to be done at 11:00 on Thursday. The trucks rolled up in front of my home at 10:58. Their work was flawless, organized, neat and exactly what I needed. Wilmer checked in with me while he was doing the work to see if it was all to my satisfaction. At the end of the work day, besides the trees missing and tons of perfect pruning, you would've never known they were even there. They cleaned up every little corner of my entire lot.
