I ordered a few different soft tacos (meaning corn tortillas) with some vegetarian fillings. It was nice to see the vegetable fillings on the menu, and they seemed to be well executed. Not life changing, but well executed. The chips were great, with just enough salt and a substantial thickness. The kind of chip that would easily survive some guacamole. On the other hand, the default salsa that came with the chips seemed off. I wish I would have ordered a side of some other style of salsa to compare, but I also had some decent salsa already in my fridge. The tamale was excellent: clearly made with some care. I particularly liked that they offered a vegetarian filling. All told, this seems like a fun destination for a nice day when you're walking around the area.

They don't open until 4, but you can place orders online hours before then. Picked up food around 4:20. By time we got home, the fish maintained its crispness. I was actually quite impressed with how well it was prepared. Nice and flaky but didn't fall apart. The bun it comes on is well proportion with the fish. The only thing I could've went without, was the macaroni salad topped on the fish. However, the food here never disappoints. I'll be back.

For being a totally vegan option, it was hard to differentiate between this and non-vegan poutine. The gravy was flavorful, fries were crispy, and the, I think tofu, curds were perfectly squishy. The truck is a non-profit that proudly displays that the prices are just suggestions. If someone is unable to pay the full price, you are able to pay what you can. I love the fact that that it engages the community and ensures that no-one goes hungry. I hope to try the curry fries next time I see the truck around.

I don't usually order from food trucks but decided to give it a try. I went with the Fungus Amongus Pizza and subbed in dairy free cheese. I was incredibly excited for the pie. The pies were ready in a very reasonable time, and we sat down to eat. I first noticed how oily the pie was. The paper circle it rested on was covered in oil and it pooled all around the pie. I went to pull a piece out to sample it and was met with some pasty white undercooked greasy dough. Disappointing was the least I could say. I took a few bites, but the underneath was so unappetizing I decided to go ask for a box and re-bake the pie at home. I did not feel like asking for another or to fix the issue so that is on me, but I was expecting better for the amount of traffic that is happening here. Once re-baked at home the pie was good, not great. But at least I was able to get the crust cooked and blotted a lot of the excessive oil. I don't think I will eat here again, but others seem to really enjoy it, and once cooked properly the pie was average enough for 3 stars.

From the sound of it, you may not think the two would pair together, but it was FANTASTIC. I've had hot caramel machiato there before, solid choice, last fall i beleive they had some kind of apple pie iced espresso that was heavenly. it even had and edible sparkle added to it. they always have a fun and tasty option as well as classics. Prices are absolutely reasonable as well.
