I was impressed. Quoted me before the job and stuck to the quote. Reasonably priced too for the quality of work. Definitely recommend Richard!

Richard will probably respond with excuses and what a bad client I am but the bottom line is that I…read moreneeded a job done on my rental and he showed no urgency to even get started, he did not know where to source materials and works with a vendor who he himself considered disorganized and unreliable, kept changing his estimate, would not even consider completing some tasks while looking for cabinets, is likely to work on projects other than yours and lacks professionalism by not returning my house key. 1. Unprofessional - After four weeks of doing nothing, when pressed for a start and completion date and questioned on why he switched the granite countertop and added $195 to install a vanity he told me to go work with someone else. - Continually changed estimates - cabinets and countertop costs changed twice. Questioned if I knew the difference between an estimate and a proposal. According to him estimates are every changing. - In his own words he's an 'artist', the implication being I should not question his choice of kitchen cabinets and granite. - Asked me for full price in cash for cabinets and granite upfront - apparently wants to rebuild his credit. - I trusted him with a house key four weeks ago and he neither returned nor responded to requests for it's return. 2. Unreliable - Working on flipping a property in Tampa and my project is a low priority as in his words he's not making any money on it - charged $600 to assemble 12 cabinets. At 10-20 minutes each that's a very good payout for 2 hours work. Especially galling considering the vendor I recommended would have delivered the cabinets assembled at a lower cost. - Last weekend he told me he had to go work with some other client rather than start work on my project. The weekend prior he had to go ride his car at Daytona. - Despite all his changes to prices and materials and vendors, I was agreeable to move forward but he had to commit to a date to get the job done and he proved that he was incapable of getting the work done in a timely manner. 3. Disorganized - Spent days doing nothing rather than working on my project as he wanted to source kitchen cabinets before starting even though there is a lot to be done to install drywall and rebuild a bathroom. - Wasted weeks trying to source kitchen cabinets and finally selected a vendor who in his own words is disorganized, unprofessional and unreliable. - Refused to consider an alternative vendor even after his vendor delivered the wrong sized cabinets to his flip property. - Spends hours pontificating on the phone and complaining about his cabinet vendor - unfocused. - At one point he lost his own estimate - I had to provide him with the information.

He signed a contract for $650 for services he knew he couldn't deliver because he knew his truck wasn't working. I paid him $660 because I didn't have exact change, and he was supposed to come back the following day and refund the extra $10, but he didn't. Part of the service he was supposed to perform was weeding. Weeding does not require a truck. Yet, he failed to show up to perform this service. To date, he has not performed any services or refunded my money. He has essentially stolen $660 from me. BEWARE of David H. He is not trustworthy or honest.

I am writing to share a warning regarding our recent experience with S & L Landscape Diversified in…read moreFlorida, owned by Steve Nease. Our project was significantly overcharged, including instances of double billing. The company used low-quality materials that did not match what was agreed upon: the sod was low-grade and brown, the Agave plants were frostbitten and rotten, and no weed-prevention matting was installed, leading to immediate weed growth. The final result is worse than our original garden, and we now have to hire another contractor to fix the damage. Additionally, because Steve failed to pay his suppliers, the sod company has placed a lien on our home. Please exercise extreme caution if you are considering working with this contractor. They are unprofessional, rely heavily on subcontractors, and mislead customers regarding the quality of their work. We fully agree with the negative experiences previously shared by others, such as Jessica H., Alex K. they did the same things again used materials off of their old job. We wish we had seen those warnings prior to hiring this company. We are sharing our experience to help protect others from these dishonest practices.

I received a phone call and a text confirming the date and time within 48 hours. The technician, Tanner, arrived at the scheduled time, explained the process and provided an estimate. Tanner replaced the pump, checked the system and replaced three sprinkler nozzle heads in the front and one sprinkler in the back. Tanner was professional, courteous and did an excellent job. The final invoice price came in at the lower end of the estimate which was also a nice surprise. I highly recommend Bruce Hage Irrigation for all your lawn sprinkler needs, especially if you get an employee like Tanner to complete the work.
