In 2000 I expanded my business opening " Rusch Home" to a historic storefront selling home goods and furnishing till 2009. During that time I was an active investor purchasing, renovating, and managing 10 rental properties that I acquired. I also renovated and operated a historic grand Bed & Breakfast. I was also an elected city official for 8 years in the town where I lived. From 2011 to 2017 I worked in the Airlines as a flight attendant. Interesting, that is how I found New Bern in one of my overnights here. Staying downtown in the Double Tree. Roaming the downtown falling for New Bern charms like you will too. I moved to New Bern in 2018 after living in Atlanta Ga since 1995. I love living in New Bern, a recently restored 1875 & 1890 downtown home, one of which I call home. Currently operating an Airbnbs. I am very involved in the community, a member of 2 neighborhood groups. Board member of New Bern Preservation Foundation. I have been a Realtor here in New Bern since 2019 and continue to love working with new and repeat clients.
