This is from a purchase about a year ago. I don't like to rate things until there is some time…read morebehind it. We gave AJ paint chip samples and he matched them pretty well. The names he gave them, well we still laugh about. Oyster for the bed room was darker brown and some foo foo mocha color was light brown. This is surplus paint from stores and construction. It is a major brand. Order enough because this is real custom. We ended up with about a half gallon to gallon extra for each so we have some for touch ups and to redo the wall where I am building another closet. I would definitely do this again. We have about 1800 sq/ft. of livable space. We primed all walls and ceilings, moulding, doors etc. Painted all surfaces, different color in each room. No issues, still looks great. Im not going to give an exact price but lets say it was under 400. Saved well over a thousand dollars. It's not a home store but if it going to one makes you feel better go there. AJ is a pretty reasonable guy. Pretty sure if you had a problem he would work with you. Sorry for the late review

What a pleasure, George is the absolute best! He spent almost 5 hours with me and listened to every idea and request I had. I price shopped at another cabinet store and was told that 2 of my ideas could not be accomplished. George made it happen with no hesitation. When I went back for the 3rd time, Heather and Millie from customer service actually remembered us by name! That has NEVER happened to me before. We had spent almost another 5 hours in the store and at the end of Heather's workday, she took off her smock and helped us load the truck we rented for the pickup. I cannot say enough about the customer service/front desk staff and the kitchen design crew at this store. When you call a large chain store and the Customer Service Representative answers and you say; "Hi Heather it's Phyllis" and she knows who you are, THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Love this store!!

They were very helpful without any attitudes. Then I went to the store in Hudson. He was less than helpful also very condescending. What does this attitude serve? Did not prepare my paint correctly. Living in Florida has been an eyeopener. The way their staff treats women is not acceptable. I've found this attitude not only here but at one other store. Suggest you give classes on respectability and discrimination. I will not be going back to these stores.

Came back, got a little sample for some touch ups (yes they're different sheens, but same color). The sample was COMPLETELY different than the color I got. One was grey, one was brown. I understand the sample is satin, the actual paint I got was eggshell. SHOULD BE A DIFFERENT SHEEN, BUT SAME COLOR!!! The lady rudely said you're comparing apples to oranges. MY POINT EXACTLY. Oranges and apples are two different colors, just like the sample and the actual paint. Note to self... their satin samples are a COMPLETELY different color than the actual paint. She even said a sample and the paint "are not comparable." She also rudely stated, "you're not getting what I'm saying, I do this everyday." Lady, you said it yourself samples and paint are not comparable, they're like comparing apples to oranges. Therefore, THERES NO POINT IN GETTING A SAMPLE, SINCE WHAT GOES ON THE WALL IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOR- NOT just sheen. At the end of the day, it was how unprofessional she handled it.

At times I can understand a word or three and I fill in the blanks mentally to see if i can get the drift of what they are saying. Certain people's frequencies are also a factor. I hear men more than women. Monday @ 11am. This HF had one a helpful and a rude. One who took me to the tool I needed and the other who was rude. A big thank you to the short woman with dark hair who found what I was looking for. The female cashier's nametag said Sam. I placed my purchase in front of her and she started to speak to me of what I do not know. I explained to her I was hearing impaired and could not read lips. Sam gave me a disgusted look. She kept talking. I said, "May I purchase this product, please?" I believe I heard her say a sentence that ended in "...like to say no." More frowns and disgust. You'd think by her looks and attitude i had just crawled out of a dumpster that was behind a fish market. To the owner or manager, I would keep an eye on Sam. As a man who had four successful businesses when I could hear, i know it only takes one bad employee to sink the ship.
