They…read moreremoved "floor to ceiling" wood shingles and sheets of 1/4 inch plywood backing that had been nailed to the walls over 40 years ago. Then repaired hidden holes in the drywall, applied two skim coats of joint compound to fill dents and nail holes, taped and textured, applied 1 coat of primer, then two coats of the paint color we chose. They were also expert in clean-up when they were completed. The Sulvaran team did all of this in 5 days time, even worked on a Sunday to meet our remodel schedule. The team did a good job, but we did notice some of the patch jobs falling apart or allowing bubbles to form after we painted. Considering how bad the siding was in places, I'm not shocked but it would have been nice if they had pulled us aside to replace the boards that weren't serviceable instead of patching. Vilsen came to give me a quote and was very honest about the level of work this project would take and he made recommendations to help bring our cost down (for example, it would be cheaper to buy new closet doors than to resurface and paint the old ones). He gave me a quote within 24 hours and I decided to move forward with him. On the first day of the job Vilsen and his team moved all of our furniture and covered everything to protect it from the dust. The team was very efficient and they even started the resurfacing on day 1. During the project, I also had new floors going in - Vilsen was able to work around the flooring team.
